Harris Whisky The Hearach Batch No. 9
The Hearach Batch No. 9 is a special bottling from the Isle of Harris Distillery, a distillery renowned for its close ties to its home in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The name “The Hearach” is Gaelic and means “someone from Harris” – a tribute to the island’s people.
The Hearach is the distillery’s first single malt; previously, it was best known for its excellent Isle of Harris Gin. Production is carried out almost entirely by locals on the island. Thanks to the maritime climate and the constant temperatures influenced by the Gulf Stream, the whisky matures under unique conditions, which are reflected in its salty, fresh notes.
Batch No. 9 is regarded by enthusiasts as a successful expression of this young distillery, combining tradition with a modern, artisanal approach. It is a whisky that appeals equally to newcomers and experienced connoisseurs.
