And once again, I'm sitting here convincing myself that it's okay to outgrow friendships that I once thought would last forever. It's okay to soak in all the memories, cherish how we healed each other at the times when that's all that we needed and now know it's time for me to move on for the better. It's okay to change and evolve as an individual, not let myself feel stagnant and weighed down with the unsaid commitment. It's okay to look back to feel those hugs and not feel overwhelmed and obligated to keep dragging it when it starts to slip away. It's okay to now have developed unlike priorities in life and leading to pursue my own. It's okay to now put more effort into building myself with that trust I gained in myself without being made feel guilty or selfish. And it's getting easier each time as I sit back to feel grateful for the parts of me and them, that they gave to me. <3
Don’t feel guilty if you find that you’ve outgrown certain people. It happens. Not everyone will always be on the same level as you. Your job is to recognize that and to keep moving in line with what the Almighty has charted for you. Stay on course and you’ll get there!
God just look at that JIGGLE!!!! Like seeing a fatty outgrow her clothes?......then I got a clip for you! Lots of love!
It takes a lot of sleepless nights and ‘what if’s’ to forget someone you once loved.
But the moment you take the first step to let go, is also the moment you are finally giving yourself the chance to start healing.
Yes, we outgrow people. But we do it with purpose.
Try as you might
You cannot uproot
The old growth of reality
Woven in restraint and resistance
That makes her who she is today,
Her tastes express
All that she was bred to live with
Her hopes are enveloped
In the dreams of everyone else indeed,
Her anticipations are all about
What those who are close to her
Desire and wish,
There's no question about herself
In her cracked lips,
She only knows how to
Keep walking a distance
Where she lives for everybody.
