Pros and Cons | outofplaceoutoftime

It only figured that, when he was finally able to take his newly-grown TARDIS out for a spin, something annoying happened. A moment of peace? Hah! Apparently that was still very much out of the question. Try to relax a bit and he gets something mauve chucked at him from who-knows-where.

Mauve, of course, being the intergalactic color for danger.

Just great.

Locking his TARDIS onto it, he frowned at the screen, hanging on as best he could while his ship hurdled through the vortex after the thing. It looked familiar, like maybe he'd seen something like it before, but it was moving so fast, he couldn't get a good look at it. It could have been anything, and he didn't even know where it was going. Such was his luck.

He stepped outside and--ah, yes. Earth. Of course. He'd been there recently, while he was waiting for his new TARDIS--which was now behind him in the form of a large box to blend in with the alley--to grow, and he hadn't exactly missed it. But, he supposed it couldn't be helped.

Taking out his screwdriver, he fiddled with the settings and did a scan for alien technology, frowning.

Jack was just making coffee when the Master came in, and he saw the bruises. Giving a double take, he walked over to the Time Lord with a frown and worry etched on his features. "What happened?"

Still half asleep, the Master had forgotten the bruises he’d hidden so well the day before beneath the collar of a button down shirt. Crawling out of bed for tea and breakfast, he’d not bothered to put on a shirt at all. His brows furrowed in confusion as he asked, “What happened with what?”

"Okay....so I'm free to go since I've been racially profiled--again, are they going to take these handcuffs off of me or am I going to have to break them?" Jean easily wriggled and pulled her hands back in front of herself, these cuffs were old fashioned and metal. They wouldn't be hard to get out of. She was used to magic tricks after all. And they hadn't taken her vortex manipulator.
