The strangest thing happened...
So yesterday I was walking home in the rain, leaving my bus stop for home. My bus stop is my zoned high school (keep in mind I go to a magnet school) and a lot of people from my middle school went there. Honestly I don't remember anyone from middle school. Anyways as I was walking, two guys on skateboards pass me by and go "Yo Caleb! What's up?" Honestly I feel bad cause I didn't remember who they were until they told me their names. Bear in mind I hadn't seen them for 3 years. Anyways, It was so strange. I never really talked much in middle school, and those two guys were the some of the 'cool kids'. They talked to me and treated me like an old friend. It just made me feel so happy that someone as popular as they were remembered a nobody like me. Just goes to show that:
1. You never know what mark you'll leave on people.
2. Just cause you don't find yourself interesting doesn't mean you aren't. You have no idea what amount of respect people can have towards you. (or a nobody like me)
Honestly that made my day.
