You know what's special about being a woman? Ovarian continuity across generations.
A woman is born with all the eggs she will ever have in her lifetime. This means that when a woman is pregnant with a daughter, she’s not only carrying her daughter — she’s also carrying the potential for her future grandchildren, since her daughter already has all her eggs formed.
It’s crazy to think about: if a woman has a daughter, and that daughter later has children of her own, the grandmother once physically carried a part of her grandchildren inside her daughter’s body. Three generations, all connected in one moment.
