Altar-Update!

Metrik came back earlier than I was expecting him to. I’m not quite sure why he came back early, but he was pretty agitated when he first returned, so I let him calm down for the rest of the day.

Per the wonderful advice given to me by y’all, I made sure that my phone was fully charged and in my pocket when I went to go talk to Metrik about the… Altar in my basement. He wasn’t surprised that I had found it, and was a little disappointed… I think? When I asked him to change the subject of the altar.

I pointed out that I am but a mortal person, and a living one at that. While some people do have family altars to those who have passed, I am very much alive and yeah. He seemed distressed about the idea that I might die one day, but I comforted him by saying that as I am in fairly good shape and in my early thirties, that I should have a long and healthy life in front of me.

I was sure to reassure him that his altar was fine where it was, and that he could keep it there, just to change the subject of his devotion, which seemed to cheer him up a little. That conversation was a couple of hours ago. He’s been in the basement for most of the time since.

I did make sure to grab more of the Astartes-appropriate food stuff… It kind of reminds me of government cheese. I’m sure it’s nutritious for them, but the paste and dry looking bars have to taste awful… 

Metrik also got into my spice cabinet the other day and swiped most of my sage :/. I’m going to get more from the store, or perhaps invest in a sage plant.

The 141 going on a mission and everyone except soap is down and he needs to get them out of there

Soap turning into a big hyena that’s taller than even ghost and big enough to support all three of his teammates on his back and get them out of the danger zone

All three of his teammates on his back holding onto his mane as he’s goin Mach fuckin 5 to get them to safety and swerving around trees left and right to dodge bullets

Once they get to exfil soap turns back and is waiting for the ball to drop, for them to cut him out like everyone else

Except that doesn’t happen, gaz speaks first, he talks about how fuckin awesome Johnny is and how cool he looks

Price talks about how for his size he moves sharp corners quickly and controlled, that it probably took a lot of training and work to get to that point

And ghost, Simon, says that his fur felt rough and soft at the same time, like a big stuffed animal

It makes Johnny feel so much better and accepted

How would Dream feel about them dating?

Dream does form a friendship with Lyra so he will know her well. At first, he would be worried for her as he is still not sure if his brother is being sincere about everything. But once he sees the first interaction between the two after they start dating he changes his mind. He sees the way they look at each other and their affection for one another. As things settle more between the brothers, he is happy for them.
