Every time I see one of those “most powerful mlp characters ranked” it’s just like, what happened to this goddess??

I love Chaotic Craftsman Worships the Cube.

So so much.

I’m only on the $5 tier at the Patreon, so I’m above the free updates but behind most of the community.

And the latest chapter at my level has some interesting stuff.

But the entire comment section latched into one specific detail - that I also went “Wait, what, no, what????” - and began theorizing about how it wouldn’t be a plot hole.

Because the entire story is just foreshadowing on top of Chekhov Guns and it’s literally ProbablyATurnip’s style to drop a single mention of a random detail inside a description to set up a later major plot point.

Or it’s a mistake and, under the absolutely massive weight of the lore of literally 950 chapters (it’s currently about 6x the length of the LotR and still going), ProbablyATurnip had an oversight about an exceptionally minor plot point overall.

Which the commenters readily acknowledge and accept.

Except a very similar related plot point became massive a few months ago in-universe…..

Enough that either “foreshadowing reality has changed” or “Opps, right, gotta fix that” is delightful in context.

Minor spoilers below cut for context.

So, there are multiple Affinities of Magic in this universe: Fire, Time, Life, etc. Each has a specific “flavor” of mana related to them.

There’s a race of Spirits who are comprised of the relevant mana: Fire Spirits, Life Spirits, etc.

The Space and Time Spirits left their homeworld a long time ago in search of few experiences. Specifically, the Time Spirits planned on going to the end of time.

Because of specifics that are beyond this recap, they were not supposed to be able to either go backwards in time after this or exist in-between the point they left and their destination.

And a character who is exceptionally aware of all this casually notes the existence of Time Spirits helping a few other Spirits in a task.

The series primarily is third person pov from the MC Ben, but this chapter is following another character to set up more context (which is an established style for the series).

Which has lead to the hypothesis that Ben did/will change reality at some point to get the Time Spirits back and remove their departure from the consciousness of everyone else.

Except Ben hasn’t done it from his perspective yet, hence people explaining the existing lore of Time Spirits to him and them still being missing from his perspective (as he hasn’t learned about them being here, and he would for multiple plot reasons).

Well I dont know if you read this webtoon but I recommend. The boxer is absolutely beautiful.

We got a op demon(maybe), a white haired katsuki(its not the laughing guy obviously) then we got some more lovely and crazy characters do try and givebit a read (if you havent yet.)
