which couples out of all of your stories have the “strongest” love, in your opinion? you can define “strongest” in any way you want
Out of ALL my stories?! jfc, I thought you were just asking about the Worshiper series.
God.......okay this is like really hard for me to answer. It’s taking me like a good twenty minutes to think about it ((and it’s like choosing if I love my dad or mom more)) but in the end I choose:
Seven Seconds in Heaven — I think there’s a lot to be said between a couple that goes through a lot of trials and tribulations together. I think the difficulties in relationships and the developments make for a stronger love. It’s growth. There’s change. If things are great 100% throughout and unconditional love was there from the start, that’s not necessarily strong. That was just the default. Rather, when people choose to stay in love, choose to be together in spite of hardships, I think that’s just a lot more powerful. I digress, in SSIH, I think there’s a big taste of what their relationship was like and how the couple drifted apart. And throughout the story, Seokjin realizes what had happened and in the end, he is willing to sacrifice himself completely. I think the relationship between them contends for the strongest, just because of the development Seokjin goes through. And how he chooses to save his wife in a heartbeat over his own wellbeing and that kind of selflessness is a strength in itself.
((I don’t know if this makes any sense))
The Truth Between Us — This couple also contends for one of the strongest, just because they didn’t love each other from the start but grew to. And no matter what universe they were in, what issues arouse, they were there each other.
Head Over Heels in Love — This couple literally transcends across lifetimes. I mean how stronger can you get than that? They beat the passage of time itself. Sure, they had a loooot of ups and downs (mainly downs lol), but it’s clear that Hoseok and OC’s souls are so interlocked into each other that they meet in every single century. Whether that’s a good or bad thing rofl.
Between Heaven and Hell — If you read the entire Worshiper series, you know that when mortals die, they go to the Underworld and drift aimlessly without memories. But Hoseok beat that fucking shit. In the end, his love transcended that very notion. Moreover, no matter what choices each individual makes, the other person supports them for it, and the grief that Hoseok shows in the second arc just demonstrates how much he loved her. Like they were each other’s halves.
A Kiss of Poison — Again, this couple went through a lot of shit but were there for each other throughout no matter what their appearances were. The fact that Jimin’s with her till the end I think speaks volumes to the strength of their love.
