A tiny but little Overchrome WIP, because Toya and Mahiro live rentfree in my head. (especially after the release of VIBRATO on streaming services!)

What I need to do is to render out the shadows a little, make it more "smooth" so to speak. And since this is just a cut out, there is also a hand that I need to draw!...And I need to render Mahiros jacket and all this jewellery..

Summary:

one thing most of the glass heart community hasn't known much about is that the TENBLANK and OVERCHROME members have canon birthdays and ages in the light novel. you can find the birthdays and ages of the characters in the glass heart jp wikipedia page!

do note that the ages come from the light novel. in the Netflix drama, it's confirmed that Akane has been aged up. i dunno about Kazushi though, but i think that also applies to him.

TENBLANK:

Akane Saijo - November 23

in the light novel, she is 18 years old in the final volume.

Sho Takaoka - September 17

in the light novel, he's 26 in the final volume. as far as i know, he's 27 in one of the special volumes (?) named "Rush". lmk if i'm wrong with that one!

Kazushi Sakamoto - February 6

he is a year older than Akane, making him 19 years old. it could probably imply in the Netflix drama that Kazushi is a year older than her too, but there's no confirmation about that.

Naoki Fujitani - February 28

like with Kazushi and Akane regarding the age gap, it turns out in the final volume, he's 25 in the final volume, a year younger than Sho. in "Rush", he's 26.

OVERCHROME

Toya Shinzaki - November 12

he's 24, a year younger than Naoki!

Mahiro Arisugawa - ???

sadly, the author of this light novel didn't specify what was his birthday. as for age, he's 27 when the band was formed! though i dunno what's his current age, so i'll assume that he's 30 now since it must've been 3 years since OVERCHROME was formed.

Another Toya sketch because I'm WAY TOO OBSESSED WITH THIS CHARACTER JESUS CHRIST!

Didn't think much of it, but just played around with color a bit. Also decided to not render it out fully because I plan on doing a bigger OVERCHROME picture in the future....This was more a test of "would Toya actually look good in my personal style?" Also, testing out how I would stylize his eyes, given that this man has very faint blonde eye brows...

(okay also for the clarity, I'm not evolving into a Glass Heart Fan account and I also do art outside of this fandom. I am just going through a huge phase with Glass Heart and probably move on with personal projects as well. Please keep this in mind!)
