kels and i had a wonderful time tonight at our favorite restaurant to go to & petco bc 1) the cheese fries are covered in blue cheese and bacon 2) i got to wear kels's clothes bc all i had was my school uniform 3) petco is just a wonderful place 4) cupcakes and hot tea are wonderful and people are mean but FOOD IS NOT (unless food poisoning but let's not think about that rn) •••cam

And get out I did. Today we stepped into Schweinehaus in Overton Square for a bite to eat and a beer.
I’ve had the brat in the past. Yes, the brat is good here. Beer? Yes Schweinehaus has beer. Me? I checked out the Hofbrau Hefe beer which was heavenly. Really. Try it.

Restaurant has great soft pretzels and burgers. The fries are amazing too. Last time I went, the glasses were not completely clean, however they got us some new ones. Local definitely has a lunch rush, so keep that in mind.
This is a great burger place in Overton Square. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Large portions so keep that in mind. My favorite burger is the Kuma, which has bacon and a fried egg. Also, you can get a burger on lettuce if you are gluten/lactose free. Parking is usually not a problem. Service is fine too.
The Stooges Brass Band Brings A Taste of New Orleans to Overton Square Back in 2011, the Stooges Brass Band were one of the more active street brass bands in New Orleans, with a regular residency at the Hi-Ho Lounge in the 9th Ward, which is where I first heard them.
