tera fairy :)
The urge to create a fix-it fic after watching a manlybadasshero video because you can't handle loss and have an insatiable need for a good ending (i did not like the game grow a girlfriend as you might realize; that's not a horror game, it's a sadness simulator that does the same depression = marketable horror and death is the only way to get a meaningful response from the audience trope)
Also read my tags because I did a lot more venting there than I expected
Not everything you don’t like is trauma.
Not every uncomfortable moment is a mental health crisis.
And not every slightly negative emotion needs to be wrapped in a self-diagnosis and broadcast like a personality trait.
We are living in an era where language that was created to protect, to validate, to explain the invisible — has become decorative.
It’s branding now. Trauma is content. Therapy is a caption. Anxiety is an aesthetic. Healing is just another curated phase in someone’s online persona.
People say "I'm triggered" when what they really mean is “I'm mildly annoyed.”
They say “this gave me trauma” because they had to do something difficult or boring.
They cry “mental health” the moment they’re held accountable, as if deflecting criticism with a buzzword is the same thing as actually struggling.
And in doing that, they water it all down. They make these terms meaningless.
Because when everything is trauma, nothing is.
There are people walking around with actual, life-altering trauma. People who can’t sleep. People whose bodies are stuck in survival mode. People who flinch at kindness because all they've ever known is harm. And they get dismissed. Overlooked. Silenced. Because the volume of fake vulnerability is drowning out the real thing.
You don't get to cosplay mental illness just because it makes you feel interesting. You don't get to parade trauma you never experienced just because it makes you feel deep. And no, knowing a few therapy phrases doesn’t mean you’ve done the work — it means you’ve memorized the lines without understanding the story.
Pain isn’t a performance. Healing isn’t a trend. Mental illness isn’t your personality.
What people forget is that you can be going through a rough patch without it being a crisis. You can be sad, angry, bored, frustrated — without needing to pathologize it. Some days are just hard. Some moments are just disappointing. That’s not trauma. That’s just life.
But that’s the problem — no one wants to sit with discomfort anymore. They want to diagnose it, package it, post about it, and wait for sympathy in the comments. And while they're busy doing that, the people who actually need help get buried in the noise.
There’s nothing wrong with being open about struggle. But there is something deeply wrong with faking it, exaggerating it, or borrowing it from people who didn’t get a choice.
Language matters. Words mean things. And if we want a world where people take mental health seriously, we have to stop turning it into a social prop.
So next time you're about to say you were “traumatized” because something didn’t go your way — don’t.
Be honest. Be precise. Be real.
That’s what actual healing looks like.
OVERUSED KLANCE HEADCANONS
I am totally going to anger at least 50% of everyone reading this, so be prepared...
-Keith being a conspiracy theorist. I'm sorry it's just in so many fics, which is cool, but then the authors milk it WAY too much and it starts to get annoying.
-Lance's mum being called Rosa. It's not even bad, it's just everywhere.
-The wrong numbers. STOP GETTING WRONG NUMBERS LANCE (not you @klance-headcanons-official). like are you messaging that lady from the coffee shop? hunks new number? make up your fucking mind.
-keith dying. kill lance for once. this is too painful
-smut. see thats just gross. and ive read far too much of it 💀
-alpha/beta/omega- nope. ew. goodbye

Danny Phantom and DC Comics
In my last poll I asked weather you thought Danny was trans or not, and of the 591 who voted... a overwhelming 80% said "yes" (which honestly surprised me) my next poll is based on Danny Phantom x Dc Comics, so here's the question.
Do You Think the DPxDC Crossovers Trope is Overused/Should Be Retired or Toned Down?
Yes
No
I don't care
My choice is yes (sorry, I just think its getting out of hand and I want something new in the phandom lol)
👻
Edit: Okay, let me get things clear. I'm not saying to completely stop making the DpxDc crossovers, that was never my intent. Maybe I had bad choice of words in my question and answer/opinion (usually the case, I'm horrible at using words) . All I'm saying is it should be toned down a bit, not stopped, just maybe people should start exploring with other options like DpxMarvel or bring the Secert Trio back to life or something like that.
It's a free world, accounts can post whatever the hell they want, my opinion is just to try something new or if ya sticking to DpxDc, add something new to the mix either then just the same old Danny ditches town because he feels his isn't being accepted/he isn't being accepted, finds himself in Gotham and is either adopted by Batman, falls in love with one of Batmans adopted children or both trope. And add Danny hating The Jokers guts to a extreme level trope.
(I'd try but I don't know much about DC (I have tried, abandoned it because of my next stated reason) and also my autism and depression combined in some twisted power source usually doesn't allow me to stick to something for to long until I abandon it and disappear off the face of the earth for a little, coming back and starting something new until abanding that 💀)
