How do you manage overwhelmed? I lives are so busy with juggling multiple balls in the air so here are a few tips that I believe can help reduce overwhelm. Have a great weekend First remember to breathe. This seems simple but we tend to hold our breath when we are in overwhelm or overstressed so we need to make a conscious effort of breathing really slowly. This slow breathing sends a message to our brain that we are not in fight and flight mode and we can start thinking clearly. Write it down. When we put our thoughts on paper we can sometimes take the emotion out of the decision or thoughts and it is easier to reach a resolution when you can see it on paper. Remove the urgency from the situation. Try to manage your tasks in a list of importance and then stick to that list and if things are not important to be done there and then or this very day allow yourself to schedule them for a day when you have more time so that you don’t overwhelm your day with things that I’m not important or moving the needle on your business or supporting your family‘s needs for that day.
