Okay so I don’t give two shits about Overwatch. Yeah, I know some of the characters and stuff but that’s just because I don’t live in a hole. I’ve been seeing all of the discourse about the new character and I think the biggest thing that bothers me about it is that the people who are complaining are going to sit here and complain, but then continue to play the game. If you’re really that upset with the new character, boycott the game and stop playing. Show Blizzard that you think what they’re doing is wrong and take an actual stand. Most of these people who are complain wont do that though, they’ll continue to play the game and support it while still being pissed off and claiming that Blizzard is doing all of these terrible things. If you actually hate what Blizzard is doing, then you’ll stop playing the game. But clearly you don’t care all that much because you’re still playing.
I think this is true for every kind of media that people like this partake in. If you really did care about the problems you have with them, you’d stop playing, reading, and watching. But you don’t actually care. You’re just complaining for the sake of complaining, and then you’ll turn around and continue to give them money.
