POC Creators on The Owl House

I've seen a lot of people complain about how The Owl House is about POC characters but made by mostly white people. And it's true that many of the Owl crew are white people.

But there are many POC creators on that crew as well that aren't as well known, so I think we should uplift them and give them attention too. After all, Dana doesn't do everything.

Here's just some of them:

Luz Batista - Storyboard Artist & Revisionist Worked on episodes in both Season 1 and Season 2. She also did some writing, and language and cultural advising. (She's also the person Luz is named after!)

Ricky Cometa - Art Director Worked on almost the whole show (39 episodes).

Anne Chunapongse - Production Management Post-production Supervisor for 38 episodes, Production Manager for 1 episode

Madeleine Hernandez - Writer Worked on all of Season 2, part of Season 1b

Mikki Crisostomo - Writer Worked on all of Season 2

Janae Hall - (former) Writer Staff Writer for Season 2a, Production Associate for Season 1.

Aminder Dhaliwal - Storyboard Artist and Director Directed 6 episodes in Season 1, and was Storyboard Artist for 5 episodes in Season 1.

Jessica Chandra - Line Producer Worked on Season 2b.

Rhea Dadoo - Storyboard Artist Worked on episodes in both Seasons 1 and 2. (including Grom and TTBK!)

Aleth Romanillos - Prop Design Worked on episodes in both Season 1 and 2.

There's so many more but I can only put 10 pictures here, and also, many don't have public photos of themselves.

Also I should mention Christian Palacios. He did prop design for Edge of the World and King's Tide. He was on Cissy's Instagram live last night and talked about working on King's Tide, and how he got to work on The Owl House. The recording of the live is on @/cissyspeaks Instagram page.

Hunter can't let Amity one-up him, his ego would not Stand for it. He had other, bigger reasons for joining the Owl Crew but he insists it was so he could 'keep an eye' on Luz and relentlessly torment Amity. They were already insufferable enough when they had captains and ships between them 90% of the time, now they're stuck on the same cursed ship filled with people who either don't want to get involved or actively encourage the two going Feral on each other. It's a miracle either of them are still alive

Have we discussed Hunter in the Pirate AU? I'm getting a "only i can capture these Pirates" vibe from him and Amity. To the point where they actively help the Owl Crew if they've been captured by the other one but they have no proof, Amity KNOWS she stabbed the mysterious guy in the exact spot Hunter is bandaged in and Hunter KNOWS Amity slipped out around the time of the prison break but there's no evidence

oh they would ABSOLUTELY do that. Hunter or Amity captures someone from the owl crew, and the other proceeds to immediately break them out to re-capture them. its an expected outcome from everyone at this point. Amity and Hunter know its the other doing it but they can't prove it so nothing is done about it. once Amity joins the owl crew Hunter is BEELINING it
