The supreme deities of Eanor. Part I

Arach the Celestial Weaver is the supreme deity of the domain of Magic. He is depicted as a spider woven from starlight. The sacred symbol is a book cover with a spider on it.

Kel (Kella, Kial) is the goddess of law and justice, the supreme deity of the domain of Order. She is depicted as an owl holding scales and a book of laws. The sacred symbol is scales in balance.

The Unnameable is the deity of fortune and change, the supreme deity of the domain of Discord. He has no clear image or name, being as impermanent as luck itself. It is believed that trying to give the deity of luck any permanent name leads only to failure. The sacred symbol is a spinning double-sided coin.

The Supreme deities of Eanor. Part II

Morthial (Mar, Morth) is the goddess of death, the supreme deity of the domain of death. She is depicted as a very slender, pale dog, always calm, neat and serious, sometimes appearing as a very young and sometimes as a very old. Her sacred symbol is an hourglass.

Haggarard (Harradar, Hirmar) is the god of war, the supreme deity of the domain of Strife. He is depicted as a mighty bull clad in armor. The sacred symbol is a blade pointing upwards.

Verter

Although the Deity of Trade is not the supreme god of any domain, it deserves special mention as it does not belong to any particular domain. Verter (Verter Dot) - the god of Trade. He is depicted as a contented, plump cat with a greeting paw raised. Sacred symbol: a handshake sealing a deal. He appeared relatively recently, with the rise of civilisation, culture and trade. Although he has grown powerful enough to rival the more ancient deities, he has yet to find his specific place among them and remains unattached to any domain.

The Supreme Deities of Eanor. Part IV

Akka (Aka, Ayka) – the goddess of fire, one of the four supreme deities of the Elemental domain. She is depicted as a fiery-red fox with a massive tail. In some regions, her tail is worshipped separately, represented as a long, wingless dragon. Sacred symbol: a flame resembling a fox's tail.

Aydra (Ayra, Adara) – the goddess of water, one of the four supreme deities of the Elemental domain. She is depicted as a white fox with a large tail tinted in oceanic hues. In the past she was depicted as a crocodile, but over time, the image of a fox gained popularity, serving as a counterpart to Akka. Sacred symbol: three rising waves.

The Evening Star

The young king of the Interfluvia, the cat Madelard, has been saddled with the burden of waging a gruelling war against invaders from the distant mountain lands. Castles fall one by one, and with each passing day, more lands fall under the heel of the young king's enemies. As yet another fortress is besieged and hopes of victory fade, Madelard's magicians and mentors tell him that they have a gift for him that could turn the tide of the war.

But the king is unaware that his enemies also reside within his own kingdom, among his closest companions. Utremar of Arimon, Madelard's friend and distant relative, has been secretly plotting to usurp the throne for a long time. Now, as they travel through the wild forests and hills to meet the mages, the traitor plans to kill his liege and claim the gift for himself.

Illustration and cover to my first story sets in my setting Eanor. I wrote this story in the spring of 2021, but not long ago my co-author friend and I polished it and put it in a better form, and recently I translated it into English.
