That’s woRST! What if! What if Jace is trying to escape and Izzy steps forward and says just two words. “It’s Alec.” And need to run is just gone, drains right out of them. He looks at Maia, now ready to fucking fight, for his parabatai, and Luke shows up and tells Maia to stand down and he looks at Jace and tells him to go. Jace runs, Maia goes to follow, Luke places himself between Maia and Jace.
This is going to hurt.
