It's kinda sad that some Epic fans imagine Odysseus keeping Astyanax and raising him as his son with Penelope and that they do a happy and nice family with their two sons.
And those same fans forgot the poor Andromaque.
Your Phyrrus is nice and has not hurt her (it's the Pyrrhus that i love the most), and even accept that he learns the truth when he's old enough. And so And so, i think that Astyanax, in your universe, will be grateful to him: Neo has saved him (even thought he was just a kid himself back then), raised him with love, took care of his mum and respected her as a person and not a slave, she could raise her son ike she wanted, and Neo let him learn the truth at a point. Yeah he changed his name but it was to protect him and Andromaque agreed.
but in a lot of canon texts and fanfics he's not nice, and she is just a sexual slave. And Astyanax never seen her again or even heard about her. Some even kill her off so no rival mother for Penelope.
And of course, Astyanax always forgive Odysseus. Or don't care about Andromaque, Hector and Troy.
And i think it's sad.
(Even more: in the actual myths, Odysseus is actually the one who is the most determined to KILL Astyanax)
