Redrew another old character, Ozette Brandt. She's a former war mage who now spends her days guarding a remote town that nursed her back to health. She lays low thanks to most organizations believing her to be dead, but her natural ability to use magic would make her highly coveted for military research reasons, should the wrong people find out that she's still alive.
Her whole shtick is projecting mana limbs that can shapeshift at will to suit her needs, though the energy needed to do so means she only ever busts it out for combat. She still mostly uses normal prosthetics and, though I didn't draw it for this iteration, her wheelchair. Showing her in her wheelchair requires a whole other drawing, so hopefully I'll get to that another day.
The mana limb projections themselves are most comparable to, say, hardlight materials you'd see in sci-fi settings like Halo or Mass Effect. Ozette has control over its temperature, so rather than always being lightsaber-level hot all the time, she instead briefly cranks them up to that level whenever she's attacking with them.

New from University of Washington Press, Ozette: Excavating a Makah Whaling Village, by Ruth Kirk. The book is a comprehensive and highly readable account of this world-famous archaeological site and the hydraulic excavation of the mudslide that both demolished the houses and protected the objects inside from decay. Ruth Kirk was present, documenting the archaeological work from its beginning, and her firsthand knowledge of the people and efforts involved enrich her compelling story of discovery, fieldwork, and deepen our understanding of Makah cultural heritage.

Been a while since I put up something remotely pin-uppy, so here’re four underwear doodles I squeezed in on the side. I think all of these characters have appeared in some capacity in my blog before.
And just in case it comes up, the third woman--Alexandria--is reeaally tall, which is why she towers over the other three. The other three, Ozette, Vivian, and Ameli, all stand around the 5′6″~5′7″ range, while Alexandria is a solid 7 feet tall. Which might mean she may need to be even higher next to the others here, but I didn’t want too much blank space above everyone else’s heads.
