Everybody Talks⎜Sebastian & Emma

The cruise had been a lot of fun so far. Emma had been able to settle in her room, enjoy a quiet night and visit around the ship. A cruise allowed Emma to be both a homebody with the comfort of her bedroom and at the same time feel like she was exploring the world. So far that day she had been able to enjoy the pool party, spending some time with her friends and just read by the side of the pool for most of the afternoon. It was fun to see so many of the people she had gotten to know since moving in town all together on the cruise, it wasn’t her first trip with other Bayview residents, but a cruise brought out something different. While she enjoyed the pool party, she went back to her room not too late in order to get ready to meet with Sebastian. Emma had put on a light blue dress which seemed to fit the occasion. Her long red hair let down on her shoulders, she gave herself one last look in the mirror before she grabbed her purse and left her room. They had agreed to meet on one of the decks, not too far away from where they would be getting dinner. Not that anything would be far away anyway, after all they were on a boat, everything was pretty close by. As much as she didn’t want it to appear like it, Emma was feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing. It seemed like it had been forever since she had last been out for dinner like that, and she had not put too much thoughts into it before then, but as she waited for Sebastian, she couldn’t help her thoughts to take over. @townofstan

“I…Hm.”

He had to think about this. It surely was very flattering, but he was not sure how he felt about it yet.

“You have my thanks, Widowmaker. Though I must admit, it is surprising to hear this from you.”

What a stupid thing to have said to someone whose friend she had very publicly murdered. 

Despite what she had done in the past, she could appreciate the aesthetics of a well-constructed omnic. She was heartless, not blind. 

“I guess I’m just full of surprises,” she deadpanned.

they were going out to dinner. was it a date? or was it just something casual? the two had never quite defined the relationship. after all, he couldn't nor did he really want to. why the mixed feelings were reasonings that he could not explain. perhaps it was because, without the formal tie down, he still had the freedom to do certain things he wanted to do. and yet, because she seemed to know that he cared for her, she was more easily held in his grasp. it was flawed logic, but chanyeol didn't care. considering all that he was doing for her to fund her education, the least that she could do was enjoy a nice dinner out with him.

[ ` sms: to ms. do hwaeji ] i'm on my way with the car. i shall be there shortly.

he gave the address to his driver who made the traffic-filled drive from his place to hers. despite the slow pace that they seemed to be moving in, he had arrived in twenty minutes and was on the steps, knocking on the door. surely, she was ready, right? he had given her more than enough advanced warning, and he was hungry. he tapped his foot as he waited for her appearance.

errand team

"sanghyuk. lizzy." 

hyuk froze. he wasn't used to being called out in the hallway by name. to him, he was still new enough to sort of blend in with everything and not stick out. hearing his name out loud made him feel as if he were about to get in trouble. he stopped and turned, not even realizing that he wasn't the only one about to get a talking to as he had essentially tuned out everything that had come after his own name. "yes sir?" he asked as demurely as possible.

"i need you and lizzy to go out-" the instructor began, rifling in his pocket and pulling out a wallet. he opened it up and began thumbing out a few bills. "to the gs25 down the street and buy a few ice creams. the lowest calorie kind, go it?" he handed over the money, giving both hyuk and lizzy, whom hyuk had just realized was also included in this conversation, a stern look. "i am going to check the prices and change with the receipt and everything, so don't think about buying anything extra. get 30."

"30?"

"yeah, 30."

and with that, the man walked back into whatever lesson he was leading.

himchan was 89% sure junhong was a vampire or something akin to that. because, the pianist had never seen the younger eat during breaks, and the younger's skin was absolutely flawless and that pissed off the raven hair man a lot, mostly because he wanted to make sure junhong was eating right because he was sort of a worry wart. (and maybe a little part of him wished his skin was as good as the younger, but that was him being a bitter little shit.) but back to the point, himchan was determined to make sure the younger of the two ate during lunch.  yeah he was doing this, as his hyung he has to make sure the younger was healthy he wasn't overstepping boundaries at all, he swore to god. okay maybe he was just being a little bit too worried.

but regardless himchan was going to make sure the younger was going to eat today, even if it was a bag of chips or something.  a part of him though, was saying he should probably care about himself before caring for another person. but himchan ignored that part of him usually because it told him that coffee was probably a bad idea, and coffee was always a great idea.  

so fastforward to later that day, himchan had rushed out of his class, and made his way to buy something for the younger.  he was sort of too lazy to actually get out of campus so he settled to buying something from the vending machines. buying two bags of potato chips and two cans of iced coffee, himchan ran to where junhong usually hung out during breaks. a look of determination on his face.

placing the bag of chips on the younger's lap, he squinted down at the other."junhong-ah eat this, hyung bought it for you. so eat it well okay ?"
