there were so many regrets running through yura's mind. she never should have agreed to take part in "we got married". why? because now she felt like she was actually developing feelings for her partner. she had always been one who was easily swayed with emotions, which was why she was such a great actress. she could fall trap into the role of being someone else without a second thought.

she hadn't quite told jonghyun explicitly about her feelings, but she had a good feeling that he was starting to feel the same way. which perhaps was a good thing, but should they even be dating? their careers didn't really allow for such things, and she knew that most relationships in the industry always fell on the two extreme ends of the spectrum: huge fan support or crazy fan hatred.

it was new year's eve and they were wrapping up filming for the night. she didn't know what plans jonghyun had for the evening. there were numerous parties that they had both been invited to, but after all the filming, part of her simply wanted to just stay at home and countdown to midnight, maybe kiss him when the clock struck midnight. was that too much to ask for? "jonghyun oppa!" she exclaimed, rushing over to him as she tugged on his sleeve. "what are you doing tonight?"

today was the moment of truth. it was a day that haneul had been dreading because he was taking his fiancée to meet his parents. that would have been all fine and dandy. except that jooeun wasn't his real fiancée. nor did he have any plans of ever marrying her. not to say that she wasn't a wonderful girl. she was. if she weren't, he wouldn't have chosen her to be the one to stand-in for the part of a girl who was to marry the first son of one of the biggest government officials of the country.

he buttoned the last button of his dress shirt as he sought out his favorite gray skinny tie. she was supposed to show up at his apartment soon, so that they could go over last details in case his parents asked any questions. which, obviously, they were going to. he could feel the nerves causing his stomach and his heart to act in all sorts of weird ways. where was she? they could start with the discussing while he was getting ready. "come on, jooeun. don't bail on me," he muttered to himself.

revitalize ♥ joon + ailee

ailee was nervous that when they got back from the wedding, joon would end up never calling her. however, it seemed that she had little to worry about. though they rarely had the chance to meet up because of their busy schedules. they texted here and there and occasionally facetimed one another as well. 

however, she had come down with something awful today, and although she didn't really want him to see her in this state, she really needed someone to bring her some food. so she sent off a text message, asking him if there was a slight chance that he could bring the soup that she loved from her favorite restaurant.

perhaps she was also sort of testing him, seeing if he remembered these details. but she genuinely just wanted to see him. and she was hungry. this just made it a win-win situation, right?

qri was furious. was her father an idiot? she was a 22-year-old female who was more than old enough to take care of herself. hadn't she survived the last 22 years just fine? apparently not, as her father had sat her down yesterday and told her that she would be getting a bodyguard.

as a well-respected figure of the korean government, the man was furious when he found a video of qri partying at some nightclub. when she had walked into his office and he had started out the conversation with her full name, she knew something was wrong. but in all honesty, how had she been in the wrong? she hadn't been doing anything illegal. just having a few drinks with friends and dancing the night away.

however, that was not the way he saw it. she was putting shame to the family name, and even her puppy dog pouts and the repetition of "daddy, please," did nothing to sway the elder lee. and so it was that today she would be meeting this so-called bodyguard of hers.

oh was he going to be in for a surprise.

baby steps ❣ daehyun + sunhwa

sunhwa was at a loss for words as to how she would describe the last 48 hours. she had been waiting for the day to arrive forever, but it wasn’t until she went into labor that the nerves started to hit. was childbirth really going to be as bad as she expected? would her child be born healthy? there were all these unnecessary (and yet also somewhat necessary) worries and fears that had crawled through her mind as daehyun had somehow managed to get her to the hospital without having to stop to give birth halfway there.

and now, here they were, arriving home with tiny byul in her arms. she was fast asleep, as sunhwa laid a kiss on her forehead. “hurry up. I don’t want her to catch a cold,” she noted to daehyun as he fiddled with the lock to open up the door. once it was open, she stepped inside and smiled.

“welcome home, little byul.” she carefully dropped the bag of baby supplies as she slipped her intertwined her fingers with dae’s, the other hand holstering the baby securely. a sharp exhale sounded. they had really done it. they were now parents, and even though it scared the hell out of her, she was excited to watch over this little human being. a product of their love for one another. she took a seat on the couch, patting the seat beside her to indicate for him to join her. "this is really it, huh? we have to make sure she lives a healthy and wonderful life," she cooed as she took the girl's tiny hands in her own.

( * somehow, alfred and bomi had been able to hide their relationship for a few more weeks, but she could sense that his mother no longer believed the lie that they had told her -- that they had broken things off for now. they had only told her this lie because they needed to work out a plan to determine how they could convince the older woman that they loved one another and needed each other. that alfred was no longer willing to meet with the women that his father set him up with. they needed his mother on their side so that they could, fingers crossed, eventually convince his father, who was hard-headed, stubborn, and adamant about alfred marrying a girl in the same social class. they had decided to invite his mother out to afternoon tea, so bomi put on a cute dress while alfred had on a suit. the two arrived at the tea parlor first and took a seat. bomi reached out, taking his hand in hers as they waited for the older woman to arrive ) do you think she's going to be okay? ( * she asked nervously as she gave his hand a light squeeze )

victorious ★ minhyuk + yuna

the last few weeks had been a whirlwind. aoa was still promoting their new comeback song when they were asked by fellow labelmates, cnblue, to attend the mamas in their place. yuna had been looking forward to getting to travel to hong kong with her boyfriend, but their tour had taken them elsewhere and instead, she found herself getting on stage to accept his award in his honor instead. she was so proud of him that the moment she returned back to her seat, she was furiously texting him away, sending him cute selcas of herself and sweet messages.

so when fnc was having a joint party for the two groups, her heart fluttered excitedly at what was to come. she wanted to see him before the party, but all she could do was settle for a text conversation with the promise that they would get to see each other soon and that they could meet up after the party as well. she put on a light blue blouse over a pair of dark skinny jeans. she wanted to be cute but comfortable. as she waited for the others to finish getting ready, she pulled out her phone and shot minhyuk a text message. 

[ ` sms: to baby panda ] poke poke. are you guys heading over soon?

[ ` sms: to baby panda ] i can't wait to see you. i've missed you so, so much.

empty truths ♛ hwaeji + chanyeol

they were going out to dinner. was it a date? or was it just something casual? the two had never quite defined the relationship. after all, he couldn't nor did he really want to. why the mixed feelings were reasonings that he could not explain. perhaps it was because, without the formal tie down, he still had the freedom to do certain things he wanted to do. and yet, because she seemed to know that he cared for her, she was more easily held in his grasp. it was flawed logic, but chanyeol didn't care. considering all that he was doing for her to fund her education, the least that she could do was enjoy a nice dinner out with him.

[ ` sms: to ms. do hwaeji ] i'm on my way with the car. i shall be there shortly.

he gave the address to his driver who made the traffic-filled drive from his place to hers. despite the slow pace that they seemed to be moving in, he had arrived in twenty minutes and was on the steps, knocking on the door. surely, she was ready, right? he had given her more than enough advanced warning, and he was hungry. he tapped his foot as he waited for her appearance.
