Hyosung was thankful that her teasing never bothered him. After all, she always explained that teasing was just a natural extension and gesture of love, right? After all, one would never think of teasing a stranger. She chuckled a little inside at the thought, but quickly pushed it away as soon as it appeared.

Feeling his arm around her shoulder, she snuggled closer to him. “I am so not!” She retorted back as she poked his side. “Mmm…I watched bits and pieces when I was in New York, but I don’t mind watching it again. The guy is hot,” she noted with a small laugh. “I bet you agree with me,” she teased as she waited for him to turn it on. She turned her head to make sure So Young was still sleeping soundly, which luckily for them, she was.

Himchan was sort of glad he was able to have this type of relationship with Hyosung, among the Elite there wasn't much of teasing going around seeing as everyone had a secret agenda, no one could really trust anyone but thankfully for Himchan, Hyosung was someone he could trust without problems. 

"Aish" He muttered as the other poked his side, he quickly reached over and pinched the young woman's cheek." I'm way hotter than Kim Soo Hyun come on, why look at him when you have me right next to yo-" The musician was cut off from his ranting when the other suggested that he agreed with her."Yeah, he's hot, but not my type y'know."  Himchan quickly grabbed the remote and turned on the drama."Was it cool in New York ?" He asked.

"I know you’re crying. Inside, anyway. You crybaby, you." Hyosung teased, reaching out and squeezing his cheek. "Oh Channie, what to do with you," she exclaimed as she rested her head against the headboard.

Without thinking, she rested her head on his shoulder while her hand reached out to hold So Young’s. If the idea of ever dating her best friend weren’t so, well, weird, people would definitely get the wrong idea about this. It was like an image of the perfect family, except…well, not. “You’re the one who wanted to watch a drama. I really don’t care. You know I’m not as picky as you are.”

Himchan scoffed at the other's teasing, she had always been that way ever since they had met, always so eager to tease him no matter what the musician did, and this was just another example of it.  To be honest, the raven haired man didn't even bother to put up a fight anymore.

Upon feeling Hyosung let her head settle on his shoulder, Himchan didn't flinch away, instead letting his arm wrap around her shoulder bringing her in closer, while there were a lot of rumors of him and hyosung dating, he didn't pay any of them much mind, they both knew the truth, so why would he let others bother them." Yah, you're way more picky than I am,  uhh did you watch My Love from another Star ? It's pretty good."

Hyosung almost burst out into loud laughter, hearing him note that he wasn’t afraid. “Alright, alright. You’re not afraid. Then wipe the scaredy cat look off your face!” She exclaimed in a loud whisper before watching the other take So Young’s hands in his own. “See? She’s not going to bite you.” She grinned.

"Alright, come on. She’s probably going to awake soon anyway, so we might as well watch some dramas." Carefully, she crawled up onto the bed and situated herself next to the baby girl before patting the space next to him. "Come on, we don’t have all day!" She cried, as she turned on the TV before handing him the remote.

Himchan couldn't help but scoff at the other's comment, used to the other's teasing, he didn't really take it to heart merely rolling his eyes as he let  other take his hand into the baby's own." I know what, honestly, you act as if I'm crying." He muttered.  eyeing the girl beside him.

The raven haired man snorted, before sitting beside Hyosung suddenly remembering the previous times they've done this before. He had to admit  it felt rather different, he wasn't really sure why, but he supposed it had something to do with the fact there was a child present." What drama are you putting on ?"

the way that hyeri spoke of her younger brother, one would assume that she was his long lost mother or something. however, he was always the baby of the household, a golden child given by the gods or something in order to cover the pain of losing the firstborn child. their parents couldn’t completely erase the pain of losing jihyuk, but jiwook was doing a good job of distracting them a little.

a light chuckle left her lips as she thought about how similar jiwook was to jihyuk and how much her younger brother just reminded her of her older one. it was sad but at the same time it made her think that maybe jihyuk never left their side. “ah, he’s a little better than me, trust me. i think he’ll really like you! i’m sure you’ll remind him a little of jihyuk—” a sad smile formed on her face at the thought of her older brother. unfortunate, and she could never get over it fully.

hyeri scrunched her nose a little, wanting to reject the present as well, but she somewhat felt that he would still get her something so she just let it pass. “really? why not? it’s such a fun place! of course, i don’t know how many roller coasters i’ll actually be able to ride because my brother’s not too great with them.” a pout formed on her face at the thought.

"on the ninth, on the day of my birthday. and then we’ll probably go out for like burgers or something." it was a typical thing to do, but she wasn’t sure if himchan would really be up for it. he didn’t really seem like a fast foot kind of guy. "i don’t do well with coffee." she pursed her lips into a fine line, yawning once again. "i get more tired when i drink coffee, believe it or not. thanks though."

himchan wondered what life was like, having a younger sibling to dote on, to take care of, to worry for as if they were their own child. being able to act selfless for that person. hey may of been using junhong as a an excuse to experience that in life. but the musician wasn't cut out for that life. as his antics with junhong have shown. he wasn't patient enough to be hyung material. and he sort of learned to live with the fact.

the musician  couldn't help but be curious on his friend's family, he knew that she had an older brother, she had mentioned in passing a few times, but seeing she said it with a bit of melancholy he thought it best if he kept his mouth shut on the subject. "really ? well i'm looking forward to meeting your little brother." himchan said, smiling softly as he took a sip of his iced drink.

himchan shrugged, yeah lottle world was fun, but himchan after his sixteen birthday, was deemed too old for lotte world, and he should focus more on his musical abilities  and less on having fun..well of course it had been his mother's idea but himchan had been okay with some of it. "i was focusing on developing my music skills."he said quickly, oh the thoughts of roller coasters, they made his stomach turn but seeing as hyeri looked so sad not to go on them, he merely smiled, though a bit strained. "if i do end up going, i'll totally go on some with you." hopefully he wouldn't puke.

the raven haired nodded,  though he wasn't one to eat burgers a lot..his diet didn't allow it most of the time. but somehow the amount of take out he had during the week was okay ? "that sounds fun, better what i usually have plans for my birthday, lavish parties can only get boring after the 10th time."he muttered, twitching his nose as he took another sip of his coffee."yet you work in a coffee shop ? well to be honest yeah i guess it's better, because if i was working here i would probably make myself coffee more than the customers."

It really was good to see him again. Skype calls just didn’t do the real thing any justice. And with time differences and schedules (and really, being afraid that she might slip up and accidentally reveal her bulging belly over the webcam), they didn’t happen all that frequently to begin with.

Hearing her daughter’s name being spoken, she nodded. “Yeah, she is, but she’s a heavy sleeper so we can do whatever right now.” She smiled up at him, seeing the way he looked a little bit nervous about the whole thing. “Hey, it’s okay. You look so scared.” She laughed as she led him to her room where So Young was still sleeping soundly. “Come here,” she whispered, tugging his arm towards the little girl before getting on her knees beside the bed. “Isn’t she beautiful?” She asked, her hand gently brushing at the soft strands of hair on the baby girl’s head. “Here.” Carefully, she held up one of So Young’s hands for Himchan to hold as she turned to see how he was reacting.

Himchan was really glad that Hyosung was okay. While she was away,he feared that one of his closest friends had gotten herself into harms way. And honestly Himchan didn't want to think about that what would happen if Hyosung wasn't in his life anymore, even if the two bickered like a cat and a dog. He cared for Hyosung as if she was his own flesh and blood. 

The musician wasn't used to babies, he didn't have any younger cousins nor did he have siblings that were younger than him. So he just didn't have much experience with babies, because Kim Himchan was not afraid of them, no way in hell.."I'm not afraid." He muttered, the slender man being pulled towards the child by his dear friend. The Raven haired man watched in slight awe at his usually brash friend became more..gentle and careful around So Young, it was different, she looked absolutely captured by this small child. It was a bit..alarming to Himchan, upon being pushed to hold the young child's hand, the musician was baffled by how different his and this child's hands could be. His hands have been roughed up by the constant use of instruments over the years, filled with scabs and other sorts of things like that, but So Young's hands were free from worry.Yeah..she is.."He muttered softly, unsure what else to say.

Hyosung looked over at So Young who was sleeping so peacefully, now that she wasn’t disturbing her. Her hand trailed over the baby’s chubby cheeks before leaning down and laying a kiss on her soft skin. It was hard, keeping her real identity a secret, but it had to be done and she knew it. She had gotten so distracted in admiring her daughter that when her phone buzzed again, she nearly fell off the bed in surprise.

She quickly took one look at So Young, and since she was asleep and wouldn’t fall off the large bed, Hyosung quickly rushed to the front door. Seeing her best friend’s face, she grinned happily, wrapping her arms around him before giving him a kiss on the cheek. “Hi,” she exclaimed, taking his hand and dragging him inside the house.

Himchan was about to reply to the texts sent by Hyosung when he realized wait..he was here why would he need to text the girl if he could speak to her in person. Then Himchan realized wait..this was the first time in a year since he saw her. And with that being said, the musician felt a grin start to form on his face. He had really missed the other, even if he couldn't admit it out loud.  And he never would, he couldn't have Hyosung thinking he had gone soft while she was away.

The Raven-haired male broke out a huge grin at the arrival of his best friend opening the door for him. Holding his arms out for a hug and laughing, before returning her kiss on the cheek with a kiss of his own the forehead."Hey Hyo." He said cheerfully, before following her into the house."Is So Young asleep ?" The pianist asked, a bit nervous on meeting the baby for the first time.

Embarrassment. That was all Yongguk could feel despite the headache pounding away at his skull whilst the natural light seemed brighter than usual, so much so that he actually winced from how much it was hurting his eyes. But he couldn’t stop himself from staring at the screen in complete disbelief. He was well aware of his inability to hold his liquor properly but one thing Yongguk never did whilst intoxicated was text. Or use the internet or anything involving social networks because he was no stranger to the horror stories created the morning after. Frankly, he did not want that sort of attention on himself—anything but that. So really, screw whoever had put the phone in his hands and screw them even more for allowing him to actually go through with the act.

But hey—now that his mind was clear (sort of—not really, for the most part) it dawned on him that hey, at least he was the smart sort of drunk. The percentages added up clearly so as far as he was concerned, so were his claims regarding the composition of his stomach. (As if anyone wanted to know that. But can you blame him? Absolutely not.) It is the replies which intrigue Yongguk, though; he sees them through half lidded eyes, head buried under the comfort of his pillow whilst his sheets are tucked all around his body as a result of the sudden chill rising on his body—at least the other party involved did not seem too annoyed at the random texts sent. But you could pay him in that moment and Yongguk would still not understand the knock knock joke. He was nothing short of hopeless in this state of mind, anyway. So, after much deliberation, he jots down a reply.

While Himchan wasn't one to take pleasure in another person's mis-wait who was he kidding, he loved watching people get embarrassed, someone tripping on their own feet made the musician bark with laughter. Some kid dropped his ice cream, Himchan wouldn't stop laughing for hours, and this was another situation Himchan took great pleasure and entertainment in exploiting..woah he could be somewhat of a jerk. But it wasn't like he knew who this guy was so it shouldn't be if he had a little fun with him. Honestly, it was also something to distract him while he tried to procrastinate  on his many essays.  Himchan wasn't even sure if the guy would reply back after this .

 The musician deiced that  if the drunk guy was going to reply to him or not he shouldn't really worry about it, and decided to go on with the rest of his day, and quickly shuffled towards his couch, jumping on top of it and throwing a blanket over himself, woah he was really cold for some reason it annoyed him.   Shrugging, he decided he should at least try to finish reading Perfume, a novel assigned by his English Class about a week or so prior. While Himchan enjoyed reading, this book was pretty gruesome..well at least to the musician. As soon as he opened the book, his phone started to beep, signaling that he was replied to. Placing the book down on the coffee table, Himchan took his phone, his lips pursing as he read the thread of texts from the unknown number. The person who had texted him seemed to be not as intoxicated as he was in the pervious string of texts.

jongup actually felt bad that he could only pay attention to half of the conversation. he wanted to answer all of himchan’s questions, quench all of his curiosities and let him buy him all the rounds he could buy him, but he was supposed to be laying off the alcohol and  his purposiveness made him selective.

he shook his head.

"blackbird," he said, as if he was letting the word rest on his tongue. he pulled out his phone, tapped in a few things, and downloaded the song. "i like that."

jongup slid off his stool and left his coke on the bar for cleaning up. for a moment, he pondered his next move. he could just leave, return to his post, he was sure he’d see himchan again later anyway, probably a little more drunk or a little less proper—or he could whisk his guest away to a night of concentrated excess.

he looked like he needed to loosen up the proverbial tie he had around his neck, anyway.

with quick expert fingers, he undid the top two buttons of himchan’s shirt.

"there are just so many songs out there," jongup repeated to him with a grin, reaching over to hook his index finger around himchan’s again—he was well known for handing out invitations like a child, after all. he tugged gently once.

"come with me?"

himchan couldn't help but feel a bit out of place at this bar, honestly no matter how friendly jongup with being rather friendly with him. he blamed himself for being a hermit for the past year since hyosung was away.

himchan arched a brow, a bit confused on why the other would refuse on his offer on drinks. but deciding whatever it wasn't really his business. 

the pianist couldn't help but grin at the sight of the other looking up the song and downloading it. it made him happy when other people enjoyed the songs he recommended  to them.  

taking one last sip of his iced tea, he saw that his phone had lightened up  signaling he had a text, scrunching  his nose once he read it was a text from his sister basically telling him to go have fun and not wait up..jeez.

he was pulled out of his daze when he felt someone..well he suppose it was jongup, whom he hadn't notice had stood up and unbutton the first two button of his dress shirt. the musician felt his ears start to turn to a light shade of pink at the familiarity of the gesture, but cleared his throat trying not to think much of it.

with  his words being thrown back at him, he couldn't help but laugh."i'm glad you were actually listening to me blabber about music." he said,  hooking his own index finger to the one that was reached towards him.
