worrying her lip between her teeth, skyler had never really felt as distant from her siblings as she did right now. she would do literally anything for them but she'd been caught up in herself and her own problems that she'd pushed away from everyone. now she wanted to fix it, or.. really she just missed her family. knocking on the door, skyler stuck her head in the room of her younger sister and offered up a small smile, "hey, you busy?"

Skyler had been in the cemetery when she got the call. The girl had felt an urge to go visit her mothers grave, bring fresh flowers. She missed her, she'd always been close to her mother and it was never the same without her. It had been a car accident that had torn her from her family, so it was understandable that when she got a call from Ruby, telling her about their brother. Well, she was visibly shaken by it. Sky pushed that back as she made her way into the hospital though, it was obvious she was worried but she wasn't going to break down right now. Not as she spotted her younger sister and ran up, pulling her into a hug immediately.

Killian had a problem, he knew he did though that didn’t make it easier to deal with. Sure he could take medication daily (which he did), but it didn’t solve everything. The boy didn’t sleep much, some nights he could sleep fine but others would be riddled with nightmares. Memories burned into his mind that replayed so that he wouldn’t forget when that was the only thing he wanted to do. Usually, he could distract himself with studying (he had nothing at this time of year), or playing video games. Since he still had to buy a new console, that distraction was out of the question as well. Now, Killian didn’t ever feel like bothering someone, he didn’t really talk about his issues passed the mandated psychologist, but now he found himself with Ruby. He wasn’t sure how he’d managed to convince her out at this time of the night but here they were, at the park in the middle of the night. “Alright-- but I could easily swing higher than you.” @ruemontgomery

Sister Sister|| Ruby & Norah

It had been at least ten years since Norah, known then as Rachel, had seen her sister, but when a man claiming he knew her and where she was showed up Norah was intrigued. Assuming her sister had stayed in Oregon she was dismayed to find that Ruby had taken it upon herself to go and find Rachel. Praying that because contact had never been made Ruby had not found her, she couldn’t bear to think that any part of her family, especially her sister knew the things she had done when arriving in California. All these thoughts ran through her mind as she drove to where Ruby was now living.

Norah knew it was probably crazy to get in the car with a man she didn’t know, but she was scheduled to work that night so if something happened Seth would be on the look-out. The truth was that all rational thought went out the window when the man named Crispin showed her his phone and the picture of the smiling woman sitting in a field of flowers. She didn’t look that different from how Norah remembered her, but she looked happy and that she was glad for. Her own life had been anything but a fairy tale, her prince charming turning more into the big bad wolf than anything else. Sometimes she half thought she wouldn’t make it to eighteen during that time, and then when she did and was tossed to the streets she was more lost than ever.

Turning onto a dirt road Norah was dragged from her thoughts as she saw a group of buildings come into view. Arching a brow at what appeared to be a commune of some kind she kept her mouth shut, a feat for her, and waited until they parked. Crispin turned to her and smiled, “I’m going to leave you with my brother Silas while I get Ruby, I know she is excited to see you.” A warm smile lit his face but quickly faded the moment she stepped out of the car. “Welcome to my parlor said the spider to the fly,” he mumbled as he stepped out and raised his hand in a wave to Silas on the porch.

Summons|| Crispin & Ruby

The fact that he even had to think about speaking to Ruby on this matter made his fists clench.  Crispin lived his life a very specific way, and he liked, no he needed, his house to remain in order.  This was not the first time that Ruby was jeopardizing that, and it seemed a lesson of discipline was soon to be in order.  Crispin had tolerated the small slip ups long enough; he refused to allow their ‘marriage’ to get any closer to the edge.  Even thinking those words brought a smirk to his lips for their marriage was anything but legal in the state of California and yet he owned her as a wife. Owned would be the right word for she was his, which was why he was so rigid in how things were done. Standing from behind his desk he peaked in on his brother Silas, letting him know he was running an errand and would return shortly. Silas of course knew what Crispin’s plan was, his heart just as dark and black as Crispin’s own.

The plan was to gather up Rachel, or Norah as she went by now, and bring her back to the compound.  Once there he would allow the two sisters to meet up, but what Ruby didn’t know was that Norah would not be leaving.  Her very existence had become his ace in the whole and there was nothing that would stop him from using it. It was only a few hours before he returned to Weed, Norah beside him in the truck.  Ever easy to portray empathy and kindness it had been so easy to convince her to come with him.  Bringing her into the main house he left her with Silas while he sought out Ruby. Finding her in the garden he felt his dick harden as she was bent over some flowers, and he was more than a little tempted to take her.  Forcing down the physical desire he put a smile on his face and cleared his throat. “Do you have a moment for your husband?” His question dripping with sweetness, but that sweetness was pure poison.

Silver linings » Ruby & Isaiah

Isaiah had planned on going to see Bella at Erzsebet’s today. It was not a surprise, he had texted her earlier, and they were supposed to see each other. After leaving her place, he headed to the fancy restaurant, and as he headed there, he met a few of Ned’s boys, spying on people as always, making sure the streets were safe. He did not believe they really were protecting people. The wolf believed it was more like the opposite. There was something about the new sheriff that was horribly wrong, but unfortunately, too many people didn’t seem to realize it.

He was about to walk into the restaurant when he saw the posters in front of the door, and frowned. How could Bella agree to have these in front of her doors? He ripped the advertisements off the walls, and threw them on the sidewalk before waking inside. The hostess met him, and he asked to see Bellamy. His polite smile turned to a slightly annoyed look. “What do you mean, she left?” He snapped, before immediately apologizing. “Sorry, it’s just…I could meet her here.” She probably had a business meeting. With all these blood dolls story, maybe the sheriff had wanted to see her. His own blood boiled in his veins.  “Whatever, thanks.” He turned away, ready to leave, and pulled out his pack of cigarettes when he passed the exit door.

He noticed the posters were back, and frowned angrily. Ned’s boys were obviously around, looking to keep things in order. “I hate these fucking laws.” He said loud enough to be heard, not noticing the door had swung open. He turned to see a familiar face. Well, familiar. They had met once, but he had heard more than enough about her. “Uh…Hey. Great day, eh?” Isaiah assumed that for humans like Ruby, the rules were probably convenient. “Went there to see Bella, apparently she’s out.”
