eve can’t help but hum as she moves through the lunch line. she’s been practicing with her evaluation group, and their song is “what is love” by twice -- one of the group’s many catchy singles. “i wanna know, know, know, know,” she sings under her breath just before she reaches the front, and she nods to the lady who hands her a pre-made chicken salad.
“what is love!” she punctuates this line with a cute head tilt as she makes her way to a table, though as she looks around for one she realizes that she’s standing rather close to saerom, who’s clearly been forced to listen to eve’s obnoxious humming. “oh, oops,” she says with a sheepish grin. “i’m sorry. i....guess i didn’t realize anyone could hear me?” she says, realizing as she says it how dumb that sounds when they’re in a crowded cafeteria. “our eval song is really catchy this month,” she offers as a lame explanation.
