her phone is a space gray iPhone 8 that’s slightly scuffed but her screen is well-intact. her phone case is the valfre’s Bye Coffin case, and her lock screen and home screen are valfre artist prints, oddly enough, because she’s trying to be artsy but y’know obviously failing. she’s definitely what you call a cluttered consumer, where her notifications are always left unattended to. it doesn’t really bother her that much, plus she knows the same five people who message her know that she’ll get to her messages, eventually. her ringtone is disco hue’s 1973 and she absolutely adores the song, she hasn’t changed it since disco hue released the song and has since downloaded and re-downloaded the tone onto any phone she gets. she hoards a lot of her pictures but doesn’t really post all of them on her instagram, while she does have a camera that she uses to vlog, she sometimes swaps it out for her phone if she’s too lazy and forget to charge the camera’s battery. she also overly indulges herself on the snow app and youtube so, there’s also that. for more information of just who is in her contacts, click here.

If you could pirate one trainee from each of the other agencies to join Royal, who would you take from each company and why?

“i’d definitely want my best girl, sunmi, with me at royal if i could. i swear nova is doing her dirt and that’s not right at all. and if i’m taking sunmi, can i take ariel, haseul and ahyoung from eclipse, too? please.” she laughs, nose crinkling as she does so. “i wish joy could come to royal, too, i miss talking to her but i know she’s busy and i’m busy and i’m just being –” she sighs, “– clingy but whatever, i miss her okay? and royal would love another main dancer like her. i also saw this girl named jinsoul on the mgas last year and thought she was super cute so i’d love for her to be at royal too, heard she’s got quite a voice too. and we all know royal loves that type. there’s also that guy, youngjae, he was on the same season as jinsoul and i think he’s in sphere right now. i thought he was really good on the mgas. also, if i could, i wish i could steal back kibum and yien but i’m almost positive that they’re happier in sphere, ( or at least i hope they are ) so i wouldn’t want to do that to them. oh! and how could i forget huidong oppa, while nova is like the company for dancers, i think royal comes pretty close to a ‘dancing’ company, too? i mean with all the dance classes we have to take, anyways. and yongsun, too, got to steal her as well. she’s a talented little starlet. ah, but that’d mean we’d have too many singers, right? so, for visuals, i’ll take that minhyuk guy from kt and saerom from sphere, too!”

January 2nd 2019, new year meaning it was time to get fitted by the sphere stylists for the jeju concert, it was terrifying and exciting at the fact the sphere trainees were doing an opening number to she’z, on top that minhee will be taking center position with junmyeon which is a lot of pressure as she isn’t very familiar to being center, the last time she was center was during the evaluation which had to be. It was fun being the center of the attention but she still it made no sense as her dance skill was lacking a lot.  The female just stood there letting the stylists checking her measurements, thank goodness she work-out after Christmas and didn’t gain that much weight over that period. Minhee spots another female trainee in the training room and decides to make conversation cause wasn’t sure whether Saerom been in fitting before.

“Saerom! Did you have a good Christmas and a good new year too?” she questioned casually in an attempt to make her more comfortable while she let the stylist takes her body measurements, it won’t be much changed from the last fitting she had back in Convex music video filming. “Are you excited about the performance too? It sounds very lovely, the concept with the petals what not. If I remember correctly, you’re a pretty good dancer too. Are you similar with the style of dance we will be doing??” she generally wanted to know on her opinion on all of this and maybe hearing that she isn’t the only one is nervous might calm her own nerves too.

The water bottle and muesli bar were held in Seokwoo’s hand as he approached Saerom, holding them out to her. They were working on the choreography together for the Jeju performance, and after enough times through, he could feel himself working up a need for food. It’s why he had made an excuse for them to have a break for a couple minutes. In his mind, he needed to take care of everyone else around him -- they were preparing to go on a stage and they needed to do their best. They could only do that if they were healthy, hydrated and eating well. “Here, have these,” he offers to her, eyes crinkling happily in their corners and finding his own spot on the floor next to her. His own bottle of water and muesli bar (with chocolate chips), set in front of him. “You didn’t want the one with chocolate chips, right?”

It’s a secondary thought, his mind already made up that he needed the chocolate to help get him through the rest of the day, but he would sacrifice himself if Saerom decided she wanted it. Seokwoo went for the water first, knowing they’d worked up a sweat trying to perfect their section of the dance. All he wanted to be was as good as everyone else around him, not ruin their time on stage by accidentally hitting one of them with his arm, or tripping them up with his leg. “I think you’ve nearly got it perfectly, sunbae. The dance,” Seokwoo compliments as he twists open the bottle lid, condensation clinging to the outside of the plastic and his gaze flickering over to Saerom. “Do you think you’re ready?” It was a question he asked often, to the other trainees around him, and before that, to the models who were nervous before shoots; to his sister on her first day of school or on the day of a test.

it’s not a habit of hers to speak outwardly of her feelings. she knows this and lives by it -- but there are some days, even jiwon is just brimming to the top with things she needs to say. and while she knew she had friends who’d be willing to listen, jiwon knew she had to carefully pick from the lot because picking the wrong one meant opening up a can of worms full of questions she didn’t have the answers to. very much so because there was no real development other than jiwon admitting that what had been innocent infatuation had developed into a god-awful, embarrassing and most importantly, humiliating crush. it’s been ages since she’s had one and yet, here she was, crushing on none other than the cashier at her favorite place in the world.

and no, it wasn’t disneyland.

she just hoped saerom had something to say about this -- maybe advice to get rid of this tragedy she had fallen into. jiwon was practically crying into her kimchi jjigae when they had met up that night after practices ; riding the bus all the way from gangnam in order to see the other and plead her for something that resembled clarity or witchcraft. whatever helped to rid her of this ... she shudders, crush, the better. 

“so,” she sighs; spooning another helping into her mouth before begrudgingly swallowing. “am i dumb or what?”

eve can’t help but hum as she moves through the lunch line. she’s been practicing with her evaluation group, and their song is “what is love” by twice -- one of the group’s many catchy singles. “i wanna know, know, know, know,” she sings under her breath just before she reaches the front, and she nods to the lady who hands her a pre-made chicken salad. 

“what is love!” she punctuates this line with a cute head tilt as she makes her way to a table, though as she looks around for one she realizes that she’s standing rather close to saerom, who’s clearly been forced to listen to eve’s obnoxious humming. “oh, oops,” she says with a sheepish grin. “i’m sorry. i....guess i didn’t realize anyone could hear me?” she says, realizing as she says it how dumb that sounds when they’re in a crowded cafeteria. “our eval song is really catchy this month,” she offers as a lame explanation.

soojung can’t remember the last time she’s made a friend in the sphere building with fellow trainees. all she does is say hi to acquaintances as she passes by them and minds her business when she’s in the studio or practising. but she doesn’t have a bad hunch about saerom, a girl that seems to keep to herself as well—which soojung believes in. going out of her way isn’t in the norm but it doesn’t hurt to step out of her comfort zone to simply know the girl.

she isn’t expecting a full life story. the ice princess doesn’t intend to pry information out of the girl, but ask her about her favorite activities and food. all that good sort of stuff. she’s also in the midst of handling the preparations for the new year’s event. “is there anything you weren’t confident in? i had a hard time getting comfortable on the big stage, it wasn’t always perfect for me.” she can also serve as an advisor to the trainees that are much newer than her if needed but she has faith in saerom.

“you got this though, i believe in ya.”
