soarin, flyerin; 3
School had closed with the arrival of winter holidays, and Hara didn’t expect nor particularly wish to see any of her classmates whilst she had this small freedom. And in the streaming crowd of people it would be impossible to pick every individual by their face, but the chance of recognizing someone was still quite high; the teenager didn’t easily forget the faces of those who acknowledged her existence.
Who she saw was not one of a cold heart, but rather a girl whose eyes held more warmth than any of the other students at Kyunggi. Hara watched her with wide shock, blinding once and twice before finding the courage to call out. “Seungmi.” She tried a smile once she caught her classmate’s attention, her cheeks a soft shade of shy as she held out a flyer. “I…” It was a little awkward– they didn’t talk much. “Would you mind, taking one of these? A-And… Maybe later, I can ask you some things?”
Winter has come and the school’s last classes for the year too had ended. Standing before the vintage building, she breathed into the cold air. Again water vapor turns into white puffs, flying away as she waited in the cold. For what? She too wasn’t sure. If anyone had been there to see her, they would probably call out to her and tell her to stop standing in the cold and get inside. But no one had their eyes on her and she can stay as long as the lunch break would allow her.
After a few minutes, a silhouette took form a few steps ahead of her. The feminine figure came closer and she wondered just who it could be. “Hara? Why are you still here? Aren’t classes finished?” A friendly smile grazed her lips and her eyes formed crescents. She hasn’t been in school for weeks and seeing her classmate only made her miss classes even more. Spotting the flyer, the rapper almost screamed, one of thrill and surprise more than of fear and disgust. “Royal entertainment? Are you affiliated with them in some way?” She refrained from saying too much, from also revealing her status as a trainee.
Slipping the paper into her coat, she looked up. “Sure. What would you like to know?”
