for some reason, jiho just hasn’t been getting along with the kim family. for starters, she manages to meet taehyung in a rather uncomfortable situation where she’s basically nomming on one of his underwear as a fox and then she’s forced to clean his room; then she gets him all embarrassed and again, uncomfortable at the mad tea party, despite her not wanting anything but just be friends with him. and now here’s his sister who, again, for some reason just doesn’t seem to like jiho at all. she’s been wondering why because damn, she really freaking wants to know what she’s doing wrong – but yoongi told her it’s probably just that their personalities are so vastly different. 

it’s funny how often they hang out in their animal forms. after all, you can’t talk while transformed and that makes everything, well, just a lot more endurable.

when the news of the abnormalities perceived in the caves first pop up, jiho is thrilled; she barely believes that she and bora had been there only a week ago or so. they were so close to something exciting – and now they’re sending explorer teams to the caves! jiho’s been waiting to hook up with bora and go for another adventure (she was sure they were the only insane enough students who weren’t even a bit scared of the news), but things managed to get off to the wrong tracks faster than a catching fire. 

and now, she’s stuck in the passageways of a cave with kim luda, one of the very few people whom she just can’t get along with, and to top it all, they’re being chased by a goddamn mist that burns her skin more intensely than actual fire. 

for the first time today, she’s a tiny bit terrified.

“okay,” jiho speaks first, her feet rooted in the ground even though they should really start to get moving, “i know you don’t like me for some reason, but we’re in this together, so please let’s work together and get out of here? unless you want to risk the opportunity to die here, in which i am willing to stay with you so you wouldn’t have to alone, but i still have many things i want to do in my life, so... please?”
