I forgot to post a photo of the beautiful Nerdfighter Art that @im-not-a-paper-girl made! It got in a few days ago, but what better time to share it? Super excited for this lovely new art for my library, AND for Turtles All The Way Down!! Thanks, Melanie!!
Sleepless in Toronto
The classic man meets pizza spewing fish love story
Coloring this in was far more fun than doing any work today
Shout out to @thought-cafe who did the original drawing
@edwardspoonhands how are you and Dave doing?

Think I have enough 2017 calendars?
I seriously can’t wait till March..
And then when March is over imma cut this out and use it as a poster
I just finished watching TFIOS for the first time in over two years (I think I only watched it once after it came out on DVD). Re-watched because of the P4A commentary with John & Sarah... and man. That movie is so. SAD. and it gives me such an onslaught of memories... from the lead up hype for years on vlogbrothers for the book, the book coming out, the TFIOS tour where I met John & Hank and a whole lot of very cool nerdfighters, then the explosion of popularity of the book, the movie lead-up, getting my friends to read it (including Kaylin on our roadtrip to California), making homemade t-shirts for the premiere, and seeing it up in Bham with my friends.
and it really is a good movie. As far as adaptations go it is one of the most faithful in capturing the best parts of the book, and getting the feel right. I feel like the book gets stereotyped now as over-hyped and cliche, but watching it with John & Sarah’s commentary (and some distance) was really fantastic.
Okay guys. SO what are the chances that my birthday month would have a picture of my FAVOURITE guy wearing a party hat and eating birthday cake and there’s confetti?! <3 <3 :) :)
