Reposting so they're all in one place! In the future, I'll edit this post to add more if I make them instead of making new posts.
Lopunny and Buneary Fusions! I started by making these bunearies for fun, but ended up getting charity donation requests to draw lots of lopunny fusions!
edit 11/1/2024: Added pachurisu and parasect designs :)
edit 11/5/2024: Added ribbonbee and typhlosion evo lines
edit 11/22/2024: added frillish and miraidon designs
Got inspired by @smudgeandfrank ‘s stream the other day to try doodling some pokemon fusions! (Click on the pics to see the full drawings!)
From top to bottom I got Vilerisu (Vileplume + Pachirisu), Arceos (Arceos + Latios), and Zapwag (Zapdos + Poliwag). These were actually pretty fun to do so I might try them again as warm ups in the future! (Also I’ve only seen Vilerisu’s design for a couple of hours but I would die for it, I know it looks menacing but it’s also adorbs-)
Also because they were fun to do for the other pokemon art meme I did a while back, here are some made up pokedex entries :)
Vilerisu- A mischievous pokemon that is often found in forests, especially during thunderstorms. It will try and scare the other pokemon it comes across. Their eyes also glow red in the dark, so their are more easily spotted in the night time.
Arceos- It is said to have emerged from an egg in caverns deep underground. It often found flying near auroras.
Zapwag- This pokemon is easily irritated and can be found in tall grasses by ponds or other bodies of water. Can and will peck at your ankles, if you see a herd of them, run.
After finding out that Pikachu was originally gonna have an evolution after Raichu, I started to think of how Nintendo could incorporate Gorochu in modern games and came up with this idea.
Make Gorochu a fossil pokemon and the original ancestor to pikachu and pikachu clone pokemon.
For those who want to know what I mean by original/common ancestor just watch the video here
Gorochu’s fossil would be found in an area where pikachu and pichu are commonly found like in dense forests or in places where lightning storms were common. Of course, it would be Rock/Electric type being a revived fossil pokemon.
Not only would it be a nice callback to Pokémon’s developmental stage but would explain why there are so many pikachu-like electric pokemon in-game.
