Pachyphytum fittkaui

The genus Pachyphytum belongs to the family Crassuaceae, with the various species found in Mexico. They have very succulent leaves, often cartoonishly balloon-like, and flower stalks that nod at the tips. Often they have very large sepals that almost hide the flowers from view, and this can be seen with P. fittkaui, which comes from Guanajuato and San Luis Potosi in eastern Mexico.
