Kumara plicatilis (fan aloe) is a succulent plant endemic to a few mountains in the Fynbos of the Western Cape in South Africa. It forms a shrub or small tree with a woody trunk and branches of strap-shaped, blue-grey leaves in fans. In Britain it is grown under glass grow in a sharply-draining, loam-based compost with full sun and with good ventilation.
