Portland Rose Garden
Cape Lookout hike! This is one of my favorite hikes to the edge of the cape and down to the beach. In all we hiked over 8 miles, not so bad. I wasn’t even sore so I must be getting into shape ;)

So we got lucky! like I said i’m bad at planning and I didn't reserve any camp spots ahead of time, thinking it wouldn't be so busy since it was the middle of the week. I was wrong, it said it was full but we pulled in anyway. When I went up to ask if they had anything the lady in front said they were leaving a day early so lucky us we got their spot! I decided to call and reserve one for Thursday night and we got the last Yurt available. So everything worked out!
