Storm (Because I just wanted some kid!pack and cuddling! <3)
Storms were not uncommon in the summer, so Stiles was used to them, and Derek was too. That was how, even with lightning crashing in the sky, they slept peacefully, Stiles tucked under Derek’s chin, one leg thrown over the Alpha’s. The room was quiet, save for the storm raging outside.
Until a little voice came from the doorway. “Mom? Dad?”
It was soft, but enough for them to hear. Stiles hoisted himself up a little to see Isaac there, holding Erica’s hand tightly. The small boy was holding in his free hand his teddy bear, while Erica was clutching her little pink blanket.
“What is it, sweetheart?” Stiles asked sleepily, “It’s the middle of the night.”
CRASH went the lightning. The two children jumped, gripping each other’s hand until their knuckles were white. Stiles immediately knew what was going on. His babies were scared of the storm.
“Come on, you can sleep with us tonight,” he smiled, motioning them over. The children brightened and rushed to the bed, scrambling in between Derek and Stiles. Isaac snuggled up to a still half-asleep Derek, while Erica threw her tiny arms around Stiles’ neck. The four fell asleep.
Later on, however, another voice sounded from the doorway, waking Derek up instead. “Mmrgh?” he grunted, rubbing his eyes to clear his vision.
And there was Boyd, Scott, and Allison. Scott was holding Allison’s hand, while Allison sucked her thumb with her free one. Both looked very scared, the lightning outside proving to be the cause of their fear when they jumped at it like Isaac and Erica had. Boyd stood stock still, biting his lip, obviously trying to be a big boy, even though he was 5 like the rest of the children.
Derek looked at his mate’s sleeping face, then down at the two children. There was plenty of room, he decided, so he fell back down onto his pillow with a small groan of, “Come on.”
The children scrambled up as Isaac and Erica did. Stiles was briefly woken up by Scott moving Erica on top of him, thankfully not disturbing the blonde too much, and settling with Allison next to Isaac. Boyd laid down with Derek’s arm around him, Isaac tucked in the crook of the other.
About an hour later, at around 2 in the morning, three more children came. Two boys, and one girl by the names of Danny, Jackson, and Lydia. Jackson was in the middle, holding both Danny’s and Lydia’s hands.
“Everyone’s already filled the bed,” Danny whispered, “Maybe we should just go.”
“No,” Jackson glowered, tugging them along to the side of the bed, “There’s room for us. We just have to *make* it.”
Lydia climbed up first, crawling on her hands and knees to Stiles. Nudging Erica gently over, she pulled Stiles’ other arm over her, like a blanket. Jackson settled in the middle of Isaac and Boyd, while Danny made himself comfortable by squeezing himself between Allison and Isaac, his arms having to go up and over the other two children.
They all fell asleep, and the storm gave way to a starry night.
