Holy shit just learned that PACK GOATS are a thing. EFFERVESCENT
Pack goats are popular in the USA, but is not yet popular in Australia. Goats (like dogs) can't enter Australia's national parks. They could enter forest reserves however. Tethering via carbiners on an elevated rope is a great idea as they would definitely try and get into the tent with their owners.
