Day 1549 - After a visit from a compelling sales person, we decided to try a delivery from Farm Fresh to You and do research to compare them with Imperfect Produce. We looked at trade offs between cost, packaging, food waste, travel distance, and organic or not. What do you optimize for when you shop?

Our major excitement was that he said they'll take back the boxes...but then we learned that they just recycle them on their end.

Washers, refrigerators, TVs… they arrive protected by bulky EPS foam, and that foam comes right back to the warehouse after delivery and installation.

The problem? Not weight. Volume.
