By the end of this hike, my camelbak was completely full of trash- mostly empty beer cans from previous hikers 👎🤦🏻‍♀️🤬 🍺 @odellbrewing Drumroll Hazy Pale Ale Pale Ale - New England 5.3% ABV IBU 51 It was really refreshing and bold 🏔 Mount Muscoco Trail This hike was only a 4 mile hike, but the elevation gain’s 1,292 ft. The hike was really easy at first, then you get to the last half mile to the summit- holy hell! It was so steep! You definitely will have to climb. It was worth it, the view was so beautiful! I 💯 recommend wearing hiking 🥾, we saw some people with tennis shoes, they were really struggling. Leave No Trace - when enjoying the National Forest or state recreational area, always treat it like a shared backyard. Leave it better than you found it! I carry a couple a grocery bags with me and a pair of non-penetration gloves. If I see trash, I pick it up. I’ve carried out tires, used diapers, exposed diabetic needles and here lately, masks. But it’s an awesome feeling to leave a forest or recreational area cleaner than it was when you started.

How often do you pick up trash when out on a public lands adventure?!
