. . S is for Espagne! 🇪🇸 . . . Fast forward 30 years from R ⏩ S and a trip I did only last November, that now feels like a lifetime ago. A very welcome trip to sunny Barcelona for Marriott to shoot lifestyle and destination images at the Hotel Arts and the fabulous two Michelin star restaurant Enoteca of chef Paco Perez. Great food, fantastic Mediterranean light, top destination and the best crew for company. Despite having just got off a long flight after working in Australia and Hong Kong, Paco and his team couldn’t have been more accommodating and generous. I only hope the lockdown there has been kind to them - Barcelona has had a particularly tough time with this virus. As a side note, the final shot was taken as we checked out of the hotel to catch our early flight. All the gear was packed away and the taxi was waiting but I could see the dawn approaching and an opportunity developing so I quickly unpacked a camera and a lens and dashed upstairs to the pool. Five minutes later the picture was in the can and we were on our way.
