Originally imprisoned in the Neath after a string of arson caught up to them, they were sent and subsequently broke out of New Newgate. They still haven't quite kicked their pyromania but it has been tempered a bit with some of the newer outlets that the Neath provides to them. Fox tends to be rather prickly and cold in personality and has a habit of being awfully spiteful, though their many spouses are proof that they do have a softer side to them. It's frequent that Colfox tends to engage in risky, often deadly, behavior that has sent them to the Boatman more than a few times including engaging with the Black Ribbons and Knife and Candle. They do not sleep well most nights and frequently sit in the parlor of their suite at the Royal Bethlehem tending their fireplace very closely in a bit of a trance. Name: Rurik Medved Age: 63 Pronouns: He/him Height: 6'2" (188cm) Weight: 220lbs (99.8kg) Ambition: Bag a Legend Closest To: Urchins PoSI: A Shattering Force Rurik is a Dangerous and Persuasive individual who has earned the title of Heirarch of the Hunt as a Monster Hunter. An old soldier previously specialized in mounted combat, Rurik had been brought down to the Neath after having been a PoW. Despite having had made his peace with death before leaving his family for war he's now grappling with the fact that he had never received his soldier's death and as death is scarce in his new home of London, he is learning how to continue living despite the guilt that comes along with having already mourned/been mourned. You wouldn't be totally remiss to assume that this doesn't bother him however, as he tends to present himself as incredibly energetic and earnest to a near fault as he throws himself into nearly everything with a high amount of passion and zeal. Due to this, Rurik tends to be considered a bit loud, hot-blooded and overly friendly/affectionate. Some find it quite charming, some a bit scandalous, though it's hard to not think him a bit of a mad man when he really gets passionate especially in regards his position as a Monster Hunter. (REND AND TEAR WITH TOOTH AND CLAW!) He has a soft spot for kids having had 3 of his own and 1 grandchild he never got to meet, so he tends to play with the urchins around his townhouse. It is foolish to mistake his capacity for kindness and yearning for comradery as incongruent to his capacity for violence. It’s taking a lot for me to not cutely slip one of my old ttrpg characters Dr. Phineas Gilligan into fl’s setting. He would be such a freak about death and immortality in the neath and my man wants so badly to have some kind of medical discovery tied to his name it makes him look stupid.

Part of this temptation is cause I made him an npc in one of the games I’m dming and my players thought his vibes were so stinky they killed him even tho he technically didn’t do anything beyond expressing genuine anger for the fact that they kept letting go of his research specimens upon the fair country side of England.
