can someone in a calm voice pls explain the nature behind blair’s relationship with paddy ashdown cause what the hell

Need a movie like “Coalition” (2015) (the film about the formation of the LibDem-Tory Coalition government) except the film’s about the 1992 UK General Election.

Casting wise in terms of who should play our 3 Main Leaders (John Major, Neil Kinnock & Paddy Ashdown) , here’s my personal take:

Jonny Lee Miller as former Tory PM John Major (he was perfect in the show “The Crown” lowkey frfr, plus he looks quite cute <33)

Michael Sheen as former Labour leader Neil Kinnock (cuz they’re both Welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿, plus idk why but Michael Sheen kinda looks like Neil Kinnock in a way, ya’know? Plus he played Tony Blair in the Blair trilogy so i personally think it would come full circle in a way, ya’know what i mean?)

Liam Neeson as former LibDem leader Paddy Ashdown (honestly it would be quite funny but also peak at the same time. Also cuz I admittedly don’t know much Northern Irish actors (other than Liam Neeson) who look like Paddy Ashdown (considering Paddy was raised in Northern Ireland as a kid), and Liam Neeson just came to my mind lol.)

Do y’all see the vision people 👀👀??
