None of us deserved to be let down that way. I mean ... her voice, her body, the fact that she’s done some pretty bomb movies .... she really should’ve thought of all of the good, women-loving people she was letting down when she surely tried, for the 12th time, to play Ching Shih, the chinese pirate we absolutely need a movie about now

The opening number? I liked it a lot! And I did get a strong Petra Mede vibe from Filomena, which a great vibe to have. It reminded me more of the “that’s eurovision!” than “love love peace peace” (Petra was also wearing a silver dress, there was a line about how lucky Mans was to work with her)

Hi! I usually only like to listen the Festival da Canção songs on the actual festival days (idk why I guess I just like to feel the moment?) but my parents have been playing the songs at home and they all sound... meh? Like, they’re good but not... GOOD. Do you feel the same?

Here’s the thing: I haven’t listened to them

I’ve read comments and reviews and I know who the favourites are, but I actually haven’t heard any of them yet

Idk, I just feel like I’m not in the mood to do it. Maybe I’m avoiding a potential disappointment?

I’ll write something about it when I do listen to them eventually

hallelujah: favorite ptx non-christmas song on a ptx christmas album?

Halellujah for sure. It was my introduction to ptx and to this day i get chills during Mitch’s solo. Not to be dramatic but this song changed my life and made me fall in love with music again. Two years ago i was so afraid i was going to die without ever getting this feeling back so finding ptx really was a turning point for me. 

let it snow! let it snow! let it snow!: does it snow during the holiday season where you live? if so, how is snow involved in your holiday’s routine? if not, how else do you get into the holiday spirit?

It doesn’t! it’s summer right now, and it’s really hot. and even during winter we don’t get snow. i really feel the christmas spirit when i decorate, we do it in the beginning of November and most ornaments and things have been the same since i was a child, so it’s very nostalgic.
