Paelia and Mico-Demon would be great friends, the Mico-Demon always appears to lonely people, downtrodden, forgotten... to keep them company (that's why most of his friends were very lonely, downtrodden...).

Paelia in his life was full of crime. His death was painful (betrayed by friends), so she became a lonely person and hates to do group work.

Saturday Saturnalia

“INNOCENT” IMPULSES:

Jacob says things in an attempt to constructively criticism something/someone - doesn’t realize that what he’s saying is not actively constructive.

Amelia sees artwork or herbs and needs to investigate them unless she knows exactly what it is. Stops in the middle of a path of people forcing them to walk around her or run into her.

Trey buys knick knacks for people he knows - even if he doesn’t know them well.

Christopher makes noise (constantly) without being aware of it. He always needs to move/be stimulated somehow.

Paelia determines the quickest way to take someone or something down - whether she has the resources (or need) on hand or not.

Devin collects DNA samples in case she needs a quick getaway. Changes her look often unless in company that shouldn’t know about her abilities.

Akhba/Aria makes a face at an off brand comments/may lack a poker face outside of life or death situations (ride the adrenaline for that liar’s boost!)

Hestia buys plants. Gods know she doesn’t have the space (but it’s fine - she’ll gift them (never gifts them)).

Celt touches objects often (rests her hands on something). Needs to root herself.

Berserker teases people or makes an off brand joke to get a laugh. Make people comfortable.

Stella reiterates unfamiliar words. “Amalgamation” “amalgamation?” 

Eoin grins when he catches someones eye (is not necessarily a friendly grin)

Derrick glowers at someone when he catches their eye (is not always intending to intimidate).

Worldbuilding Wednesday

Paelia acts as a guard for the Triplets and their family. She occupies this role based on the community she was raised in/magic she utilizes:

Paelia’s magic is rooted in the concept of Crystal Magic and gemstones.She keeps a pouch with gems on her belt, with strings long enough to be tucked into her pocket. She has independent power that is focused through the gems/crystals according to the properties of the gems/crystals she is using (I.E. garnet = balance, hematite = psychic awareness,jasper = luck etc.) - Crystals can all have multiple properties as well.

The closer a gem is to her and the longer it stays in contact with her skin - the easier it is for Paelia to utilize its properties and the more sensitive she becomes to finding them in the wild. She has similar magical abilities to the Triplets and Christopher - who are able to use their magic funneled through spells and potions, except that her power is funneled through her gems and she can utilize them based on how much studying she has done and how familiar with using a gem she is.

 As she gets older (18+) she utilizes microdermal and transdermal piercings (good thing her Best Friend becomes a piercer* and tattoo artist* (*there will be another post about Amelia’s career)). Her piercings allow Paelia to remain in contact with her gems at all times, even while not actively using their properties which enables her to conserve energy for a bigger punch when she needs to use the gem/crystal’s ability. Some piercings be changed out but most are intended to be permanently placed in particular places of her body that will be most directly affected by the gem. 

If Paelia knows that the group is going into a dangerous setting, she wears a vest to cover her piercings, compressing them closer to her skin and avoid them being ripped as much as she can.

One gem is pierced beneath her collar bone (a ceremonial gem done by people in her own community) and a design is pierced in the back of her neck after Amelia is comfortable piercing. These are the only visible micro/transdermal piercings she has for a while. Her ears are also pierced twice to enable her to change out specific gems.

Thursday Trivia

What jingles get stuck in their head?

Devin: k-9 Advantix "hello mother, hello father. Fleas and ticks, really bother~" may hum it under her breath at home. Has never owned a dog.

Hestia: Farmers insurance "we are farmers-" every. Time.

Akhba: Meow mix.

Amelia: Trix "silly rabbit -" (just let the damn rabbit have the Trix!!)

Trey: YahooooOOOOooooo

Jacob: I'm stuck on band-aid brand-

Paelia: green giants "ho ho ho."

Christopher: the oscar mayer weiner song. Just .... constantly.

Juliet: "best part of waking up- is folgers in your cup"

R: poor undead dude is still haunted by the "five dollar footlong" jingle and hand motion

Stella: State Farm "like a good neighbor~"

Eoin: "I'm lovin it" McDonald's ftw

Derrick: kit kat bar "gimme a break"

Celt & berserker: have no effing idea what's going on. Is everyone under mass hypnosis?

Bad Habits

Jacob: Cleans up after people without giving them any heads up/moving important things without telling people. Leaving objects at a height only he can reach (just slightly taller than his siblings). Gloats.

Trey: Leaves the door open. Puts empty containers back in the fridge. Considers glasses to be a “middle man” and one should always “cut out the middle man” *chugs directly from container*.

Amelia: Cigarettes. Closes herself off from people/won’t answer her phone for a few days at a time (Habit had to be broken - she atleast sends an automated ‘fine- dnt wna tlk rn, tlk lr.’  (normal texting has a few more vowels)). Will eat peanut butter and house ice cream directly from the tub.

Christopher: Eats/drinks out of containers. Leaves empty containers on the counter. Hoards empty plates/utensils in room.

Paelia: Only finishes half of a drink (will pour another and then remember the first), sets things down and forgets to come back to them.

Paelia because I just wanted to get it down - I've no idea why I love the pose of a woman looking up with her eyes closed but I do like it (clearly). Associating her with yellow lately for some reason but I'm not sure that's the actual color of the gel at her throat anymore.

Triplets Tuesday

It’s a quiet YIMWN today so I’m gonna post another before I go off to bed.

Amelia loves the color red (with some orange in it to give it ‘flavor’)

Jacob loves grey blended colors, diluted colors that catch your eye but don’t stress them out. Particularly Blue-greys.

Trey adores yellows and oranges.

Christopher really loves the color green - but especially dark greens.

Paelia struggles to identify a favorite color. She likes to use prisms in her magic so the color EFFECT of  the prism is the type of color she loves.
