Book review „Brigid: History, Mystery, and Magick of the Celtic Goddess“ by Courtney Weber If you are interested in working with/venerating/worshipping Brigid or if you are already doing so, this book is a treasure trove to find out more about this Celtic goddess. The author goes deep into the historical background and quotes numerous traditional tales, myths and prayers. The Catholic saint St. Brigid is also a recurring theme. Brigid is portrayed here as a versatile goddess who is connected with the earth, blacksmithing, healing, poetry, various animals, spring, justice matters and much more. The author also has included some personal anecdotes of her journey with Brigid, for instance some travels to Ireland and how this book came to be. Throughout the book there are several rituals, reflection questions and the last chapter is devoted to numerous spells with a wide variety of themes, e.g. protection, money, love, banishing, house blessings, justice and some more. Some of the spells are quite simple and easy, others are more elaborate and there are also a few group rituals included which can be adapted to the needs of the respective group.

Looking for recommendations for a good book on runes. Asking for a character in my book!

I've been using runes since I was 14 years old, and I've only one old, out of date book...I need something better for my character to look up.

🇫🇷 Mille mercis aux éditions @alliancemagique pour agrandir aussi généreusement ma liste de lecture ! J’ai tout particulièrement hâte d’entrer dans la lecture de l’opus consacré à Ostara, étant donné que depuis mes premiers pas sur la voie des célébrations saisonnières (il y a près de 18 ans maintenant), ce sabbat et moi sommes plus ou moins en conflit. Mes célébrations d’Ostara, quand elles ne sont pas totalement ratées, ont globalement été systématiquement gâchées par des facteurs divers, quand elles ne sont pas tout bêtement tombées aux oubliettes.
