I sang this to my wife and she fell in love with it. This is a beautiful alternative to Amazing Grace that can be taught to Pagan children at bedtime or meal time, which can be sung or spoken aloud as a poem. I have a little palm-sized book in which upon finding out I was going to be a father, I wrote within its tiny pages several cute, rhyming little poems for various occasions for children. Bedtime, breakfast, mealtime, holidays, when you’re afraid or worried about something, etc.... It’s not easy to come across things like that without making them up yourself because the Pagan community as a whole doesn’t typically do much beyond the bare minimum to cater to children, so it took me a few months to gather fitting, appropriate ones together. This one by Margot Adler I will be adding to the collection.
May you find some solace in the words in difficult times.
