Make Them Feel It
“To be forgotten is worse than death.”
“I don’t know about that, dying is so very final. Whereas life is full of possibilities! Besides, being recognized for what you are is not always rainbows and sunshine.” Pig replied to the other Original.
“If you’re going to make them hurt, do it right, my lady. Pushing them into that foggy grey area that history forgot is all good and well, but may it serve to be remembered that Originals lived in that grey area till we made a triumphant return. Hurt them, let them suffer for a bit, then end them.” He said with finality. “Do not make the mistake of allowing your enemies to survive just because you think they cannot adapt. They can always adapt.”

Mina was sitting on her ball in front of the large aquarium that she asked Vincent to get for her. If she had to stay on this island devoid of life than she’d surround herself with as much of it as possible. Of course, the fish also had a soothing effect on her and that’s how she sold the idea to her mate.
She heard the sound of the elevator moving before even the dogs. “He’s here.” After her run in with the tiny Original she believed he was someone they would need to know better. Mina had a very specific interest in Atlantis having come from a group in seclusion herself. An entire island of Originals who thought just like her father living so close was not something she could just look past. So she invited Pagru to the penthouse for a visit. He claimed to be a man full of secrets and with both herself and Vincent speaking with him maybe they could determine if he was indeed as important as he claimed to be.
“Can you get the door, dear?” She stood just as the elevator reached the landing and Cronos began to bark. Mina scooped the little dog up in her arms and moved toward the door.

PAST
Being born an outsider in a world where you were judged purely on your physical strength and presence, Pagru learned early that he needed to find his own way to be useful. As the offspring of two non-mated Originals, he was seen as a miracle by his mother, but a disgrace by his father. After seeing that his son would never be the warrior that he had dreamed of fathering, Pagru’s father turned his back on their family and went in search of his true mate. Distraught and heartbroken, his mother was never the same, relying heavily on her only child to take on much more than a young child should have to consider. Pagru had spent so much of his time taking care of the only person that truly loved him that when she died he had no idea what to do with himself. Fortunately, it wasn’t long before he was presented with an offer that seemed to be the answer to his problems. Atlantis was his way to a better life. An island dedicated entirely to technology and learning, far from the war and death that plagued them everyday on land.
PRESENT
Pagru kept his promise to himself. During the thousands of years he spent on Atlantis he created a brand new life for himself. He had become the record keeper for Atlantis, cataloging all their advancements and inventions along with what had gone on during their isolation. Although he did not consider life on Atlantis as the utopia that Adamen had planned, Pagru lived a relatively comfortable life. A life that was ended the day Vincent Smith brought Atlantis to the surface. Once again, Pagru was presented with another opportunity. For ages he had kept track of everything that had transpired below; the good, the bad, and the worse. As he watched Adamen try to sell his idea as fact to the other Originals, Pagru was sickened. Directly speaking on their matters with outsiders would be considered treason and lead Pagru only to his death. Looking to Yvieta as inspiration, he began to slowly feed information to Vincent. There were many talented liars among the Atlanteans, but he considered himself the best. Although he had easily discover the reasons behind Yvieta’s deception, his own motives were unclear to everyone around him. His meetings with Vincent had piqued his interest about the other species living with them. Pagru took a particular shine to Philip Orman, finding a kinship with the disgraced doctor over a drink or two, or ten. His growing familiarity with the outside world did not go unnoticed, of course. Adamen asked both Kataru and Schala to keep an eye on Pagru as he continued to distance himself from his own people.
