Do you like your psychedelic rock? Are you a fan of the style of rock that originated with The Beatles (mainly from Stgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band), but has been leaked into the airwaves by way of Tame Impala and Stonefield?
Then you will love these guitar yielding brits who go by the name of Wolf People. They have been said to sound exactly like Jethro Tull. So if you are stuck in the Progressive rock era, these guys are for you!
The song is Painted Cross and it is off their album Steeple which was released in 2010. I had the amazing opportunity of seeing them live, and sweet oden's raven, do they know how to put on a show! see the photos at the link below.

So far they have released four records, their latest being Tidings. The most recent has a very chromatic element to each of the tracks with Black Water being something to listen out for. They dig their old school beats, and are also pretty interactive with their blog, head on over to http://wolfpeople.wordpress.com/ and check their video's, streams and playlist for those who really dig what these guys are sending out.
If you've nothing to do on a warm spring day but sit in cushy comfort with any sort of relaxant (mind altering substances - optional), chuck on Wolf peoples discography or if you're strapped for time; Tidings will mellow you out on a warm Sunday afternoon.
