Trying to make the most out of my last day in Rome. After the Pantheon, it was off to Cooking Class with @inromecooking. Chef Phillipe taught us how to make tiramisu, homemade pasta alla carbonara, and a lovely arugula salad with thin-sliced beef. Chef's 9 American students enjoyed the fruits of our labor with an amazing lunch under this beautiful ceiling. It's now six hours later and I am still full. I've taken cooking classes in a handful of countries - including aindia and Morocco. And I love how food teaches so@much about culture, geography, history, and values. When You Wish Upon A Star. It has always been my goal to find the best artisans to implement my design concepts. Everyone has things they are good at, but may not adapt to another style of art and painting. Also not everyone is not cut out to work on different design projects all over the country. Climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding for hours on end requires using muscles you didn’t even know you had. Doreen Mullis Whaley has continued to jump over every challenge I have thrown at her. I continue to be amazed with her unbridled enthusiasm and willingness to deliver extraordinary works of art on every project. I felt there was something different about this young lady. She continues to surprise me with the speed she picks up the classic techniques that I continue to share with her. And we explore together. This is a garden room ceiling we are finishing up now.
