so I was volunteering at the local high school over the weekend and one of these young talented student children had the absolute GALL to tell me she was born in the year of our lord 2000. I nearly fell out of my chair so great was the weight of the previous century upon my aging shoulders.
and then the woman next to me says, “oh yeah, I was born in 2002.”

Worked on this distraction while watching The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. It’s a bit too ‘hail satan’ if you ask me, but the production is solid, the cast is great, and it’s pretty hilarious watching the writers grapple with characters who’re supposed to be sympathetic even though they’re dumb enough to worship a blood-soaked creepy goat man and… sometimes… murder people. 🤷🔪
