It was known by few who lived that Obi-Wan had become one with the force upon his death, and even fewer that the force had brought him back. Some liked to romanticise the notion of all beings having been made from stardust, but in this Jedi’s case it was truer than most. A body created anew, with the features he had possessed when he was a Jedi Master, full of hope for the future. Now living in a remote village in Takodana, hiding away from the prying eyes of those who used Maz’s castle as a base. In fact, that woman was the only one who knew he lived, having stumbled upon him when he was out working on the vegetable garden he had cultivated. She had tried to persuade him to what she thought would do him good, to returning to the fight even if it was against a new enemy, but though Kenobi looked young once more he still possessed the knowledge of those years he had spent watching over Luke Skywalker, those years hiding.
He tried to live a quiet life, but that all changed when the First Order came, raining down destruction. Of course he couldn’t stand by and watch innocents be slaughtered, so he grabbed the lightsaber that he had hidden in his home, having been created somehow along with his new body, and raced through the forest in the direction the force pushed him. Soon enough he found what the force was so desperate for him to see. A dark figure who held a woman in his grip, though he didn’t touch her. Moving forwards almost silently, he stopped a few metres away from him and ignited his lightsaber. Immediately the forest was pierced with light, fierce and white as it eminated from the light blue saber. He didn’t know the man, but he wasn’t going to let another innocent die.
