Me and my 2 team members are developing an isometric virtual chat world called Lunarstray were you can adopt a fox đŠ and experience a pixelated environment, wear cute hats, level up and more!
We recently launched our website with lots of details and I worked really hard to make it as good as possible. It would mean a lot to me (and us) if you could spare a minute and check it out!! We are currently in the need of support via Patreon to make it happen.

There's this really cute/creepy indie game called Entity that I found thanks to sixpenceee, and I just couldn't stop playing it over and over again until I beat it!
However, I was having difficulty with a couple of things in the game and I went searching for a guide or a walkthrough, but all the information I found was contradictory with everything else and there was a lot of false information out there as well, and none of the videos or guides/hints took me all the way to the end of the game. I was wondering for a while if it was even meant to be beaten (more about that under the cut).
Anyway, I decided to make a thorough guide so that hopefully people that need help will actually find the help they are looking for!
MONSTERS
From the start menu, you can access a "Monster Book" that will update as you make it further into the game.
It has a page for each monster, naming them and providing a hint to defeating each of them. My guide is basically detailing how to defeat each monster, using this book as an outline.Â
JELLY
Just click the pink center.
JELLY RETURNS
Double click on the teal center.
HAND
Click on the hand.
TELEVISION
Turn off the television. I have a hard time with this one because you can't just click on the tv - you have to click on the power button! It's super tiny at the bottom left of the tv. The tv will warn you before the monster comes out, so this monster does not pose the greatest threat because you have some time to spare in getting to it.
LIL' SPIDER
The little spiders come out of the closet. As soon as you see that closet door open, close it ASAP! Seriously, do this before defeating any of the other monsters, because preventing any spiders from coming out of the closet in the first place is the best way to deal with them and saves you a good chunk of time. If any spiders come out of the closet, they will quickly be upon your face, and at that point you should get the lamp and hover it over them, and they will turn white and then disappear. I also was once able to defeat them by using the fly swatter, but the lamp is easier. You can also use the spray bottle on them, but... again, the lamp is the easiest thing.
MUTANT SPIDER
It will crawl on the ceiling starting from the left side, stop above your bed, then climb down a string of web to EAT YOUR FACE OFF so PICK UP THAT SATAN SPAWN AND DUMP IT IN THE TRASH CAN, STAT! (ăàČ çàČ )ă
SKULLY
They will walk slowly towards your bed. Remove the skull from the chain by clicking on it and dragging it. Actually, you may just be able to click on it without spending any extra time dragging it far away. These guys are really slow so they are low on my list of "kill as soon as possible."
ALIEN
Hover over it and hit your space bar. This monster doesn't seem to appear before the Shadow's first appearance, so no worries in early game.
MONSTER TEDDY
It won't start coming out until after the Shadow's first appearance. Pick up the stuffed bear and drop it on the black bear to capture it and put it back where it belongs.
FIRE SHADOW
It won't start coming out until after the Shadow's first appearance. He will come out of the candle. Spray it with the water bottle (pick up the water bottle and press your CTRL key to spray water) to put out the fire! He will shoot little tiny fire balls at you which will linger on you for a little bit and deal a tiny bit of steady damage to you. If this happens, you can put out those little flames with the water bottle, but I usually don't even worry about doing that because it's such a small amount of damage and there are usually more pressing matters to attend to... but if it's not too busy at the moment, I would put them out.
CENTIPEDE
It won't start coming out until after the Shadow's first appearance. You will first see its eyes under the foot of your bed - when you see this, I'd go for the fly swatter and get in position to smack it off your face (hold the swatter with your cursor and hit your CTRL key). It may take a couple swats.
CREATURE
It won't start coming out until after the Shadow's first appearance. This monster is invisible unless you hover over it with your cursor. Pick up your camera and take a picture of it to scare it off (hold the camera and hit your CTRL key).
SHADOW
There will be a cease-fire from all the other monsters before this special monster appears. The girl in the bed will turn over on her side to face away from it. Hit your arrow key over and over and over again in the direction of the Shadow, and it will quickly disappear.
???
This is the boss. Just hit CTRL a lot. It will creep up over the girl in the bed and she will scream, and that's the end of the game! The next screen will show your high score and stuff like that.
*There seems to be a bug that will only happen occasionally where the boss will never appear, but neither will any of the other monsters. If this happens to you, you'd just have to reload the game and start over, unfortunately. This happened to me the first time I made it to the end, and I was confused about whether it was meant to be beaten.
STRATEGY
Your health bar is at the top left corner. This is the original state of the room. At game start, I would move a couple of items, as seen below:
- I moved the lamp for easier access to quickly get rid of lil' spiders.
- I moved the camera for easier access (center of screen and not right next to other interact-able items) to be more able to take a picture of an Alien more quickly.
- I moved the fly swatter so it could be closer to where I would need to use it.
- I moved the stuffed bear to keep it as far away from me as possible, to give me more time to capture the bear monster when it comes out of the stuffed bear.
- I moved the candle and spray bottle so that when the Fire Shadow appears, it's more in the center of the screen so my eyes catch it sooner, and the bottle in is a position such that I can just click on it and hit my CTRL key to spray out the fire instead of having to pick up and move the spray bottle.
There are many other items that can be picked up and moved but I have not discovered any uses for them.
Other than that, my #1 rule is to always close the closet door before doing anything else.
