favourite era of prehistory?

unsure if you mean like, "everything before human history" prehistory or "everything before recorded history" so I'll respond for both lol

For pre-written history, I love the paleolithic era. I'm a sucker for early cave paintings, I get emotional thinking about how art connects us as a species through millennia. They're us!! through everything, they're still us and we're still them!

For before human history, I'm basic and I gotta say the mesozoic. I love dinosaurs, I've got tattoos of dinosaurs, my childhood was visiting dinosaur dig sites and natural history museums and I still have such a fondness for the wonder that comes from that era. But I also love the devonian era. Lobed fish are so cool and this was their time to shine. But also! the permian era because everything looks like a bad star wars creature in the best way lmao
