I'm always sorta elated when I see your complaints abt Veth/Nott's straightings or the fandom's overt love of Caleb or whatever because I too find myself annoyed by it all so it's always like YEAH, THANK YOU, bcs it gets to be way too much sometimes

I stay quiet a LOT bc cr fandom is historically very hostile when it comes to accepting critique of the show but thbdhjs thank you

tbh my favorite thing about Najia asking how her daughter and the Doctor know each other and her asking if they are dating is that the situation wasn't taken as a joke by any of the characters, nor as a weird question but also it wasn't posed as a joke for the audience to laugh at, like it was just a normal and logical way for things to happen

Yeah!!! That was actually a brilliant writing choice to:

Introduce Yaz as potentially bisexual (since Najia asked that question to Ryan too)

Get insight into how apparently open-minded Yaz’s Mom/family is, and learning more about Najia’s personality (curious, stern, protective etc) so she’s not just some bland secondary character. Same for the Doctor, although we did have characterization on her beforehand to know she wouldn’t take offense/laugh/etc. But still!

Get a feel of what the characters’ relationships are for us viewers, because it’s not always easy to have slow build-up in a TV show that changes its set of characters every 10/12 episodes! Knowing where Ryan & Yaz and even Thirteen & Yaz are at at this point in the story is very nice

Get hilarious and sweet scenes

All in all 10/10, smart writing, LOVED IT

btw @ ur post abt dovahkiin vs the high hrothgar frost troll, my dovahkiin tried to climb up the stairs for a miscellaneous quest at lvl 3 w/o starting the main questline and srsly tried fighting the frost troll three times before quitting the effort

oh god big mood, i remember my first time just TRYING to get past it and failing, to the point where i got a horse for the first time and managed to get past it by just SPRINTING on it.

only for a DRAGON TO SPAWN next to the path and having to outrun the dragon as well

that horse did not survive long, it died on impact when i when flying off the northern entrance to labyrinthian while running away from draugr. a noble sacrifice to an idiot ldb

okay but bean boots are seriously amazing stuff, like wellies but warm and actually comfy n nice to wear? but also good winter shoes that won't suffer if you go indoors n the snow starts melting or the ground is just covered in watery slush n like Bean Boots are awesome and seriously underappreciated

okay hold up so they still haven't completed the second task for the gentleman? & who knows how long rediscovering & freeing the three will take bc who knows how long the players will be gone, so literally they are at a crossroads of having to decide whether to let the potential traces of where their friends are at to get cold or just absolutely ignore a job they've signed up for & kinda promised to do (idk how important it is to get it done for the team when they already did one but ye)

also yea I feel like the gentleman only smuggles people in the sense of "people whom the empire looks upon unfavorably pay him to get through/to safer waters without bekng noticed/getting imprisoned"

I feel like in game, for the characters, it would make most sense to chase after them. Molly would never let Yasha go in favor of a job and I’m pretty sure that Beau feels the same about at least Jester, if not also Fjord and Yasha. But out of game, it’s clear that the three of them are supposed to be away because their players are unavailable, so I dunno how they will decide. Who knows what Matt intends for them to do.

(And I agree regarding the Gentleman, that’s the vibe I got as well!)

okay but saints row IV is the best game because it is 100% full of nonsensical crap and it's so pleasing to see a game that so completely just doesn't give a fuck about being sensible

how this game series went from generally serious and occasionally little tongue in cheek gangster game to.. this? i mean im not complaining but how
